Who is "thir" (not the typo, but your intent as to 'their sites').
I think it's entirely false to attempt to premise that "(someone) supports our troops but oppose(s) the war (any war)."
It's an attempt to excuse political positions and thereby enable them, but it has nothing to do with supporting troops, only opposing military action. Which, in effect, is opposing troops deployed.

The counter suit should be interesting. If anyone defamed anyone regarding Vietnam, Kerry defamed them. And another thing, I predict pain-- for Kerry. He probably wishes this lawsuit weren't going forward, if he has any brains. More attention on those purple hearts?

If the Free Republic Forum were 30 or even 20 years old, I'd agree with you. The New Media changed me to conservative just months before I started posting here. Jerry Falwell, talking about partial birth abortion on NET-- that was the last straw for me.

I think these lawsuits will be great! Kerry has everything to lose if the truth gets out - and it will - somehow - even the blogs have clout nowadays and that's how it will come out. It sure won't be the leftist media!

Only when he is sure that all incriminating evidence against him has been removed and destroyed from his file[s].
If he ever signs it you will know that the fix has been made.
As for him running for President again in '08, you can count on it for two reasons:
1.Because of the fools, idiots, and traitors, he came within a gnat's wisker of being elected President.
2. The Kennedy faction are not going to allow the Clintons to control the Democrat Party without a fight.The Clintons had almost eased the Kennedys from control before they [Kennedys] knew what was happening.
I, for one hope that the fight will be bitter and bloody. The Kennedys can be just as bad as the Clintons If you do not believe that ask Mary Jo or Marylyn[sp?] Monroe, among others.
