The first we've heard about it is here. Nothing on the news, as far as I know.

I for one am glad this isn't making headlines, that just what these scumbags want. But I agree the lack of coverage on this is strange.

That is a good point, but one has to ask, do Americans deserve to know the facts when a possible terrorist is in their midst? I would prefer that people be alerted to a possible terrorist attack. Isn't that why Homeland Security was created in the first place with their color-coded risk levels?

OU is more interested in paying for their remodeling rather than be honest with their patrons.

A coverup of an Islamic attack - specifically the 1993 WTC bombing - was the event that spurred me to become politically anti-Clinton, and thereafter wholly committed to the right. But apparently it would have been no different with a modern Republican in office, if this is any indication.

Do we have any elected officials who haven't been bought off by Saudi oil money?

>>BTTT cuz our media stinks.<<

More specifically, it's because the liberal media would rather see another 9/11 than to ever validate "Bush's War on Terror."

Maybe it's somewhat simpler than that. Maybe in the middle of the investigation they don't want to spew too much info that will foul ongoing leads, whatever they are. If I were the investigator I sure wouldn't want my daily status report published in the paper either.

It's undoubtedly true that if I were the investigator I'd not want to have too much information out there. But this kind of restrained behavior is so atypical from the press, that's what seems curious to me. I mean during Katrina we had reports of baby rapes and cannibalism, 10,000 dead, etc. All it took was some whisper of something and they went live with it. Now all the sudden responsible journalism where things have to be double and triple sourced before they go with it. Quite a change in the space of a month.

Interesting email. I'm wondering if these 5 people they speak of are the same 5 people originally reported as "injured" and then "forgotten about"... (o:

""Channel 9 is doing great work on this.""

Good for them, but it is a sad commentary on the rest of the media that only some obscure local channel is interesed in this story.

Doesn't make sense to me.

"He wasn't suicidal -- it was an accident or someone set off the bomb that blew him up."

He doesn't sound suicidal. The fact that he was mixing up large batches of explosive in his apartment, and that he was trying to buy ammonium nitrate, seem to indicate that he intended to be around. It sounds like he intended to place his backpack in the stadium and leave.

I don't blame you; I'd be mad as heck, too.

It's weird how so much of this stuff ties into OKC.

And, I'm more convinced than ever that the 1995 bombing was part of the overall picture.

I am not buying it -- I live here and have a right to know what is happening in my own town. I had to find out today that a Copy store is known for being an alleged terrorist cell hangout and I have been in that store.

We are quite capable of handling information here in Norman as witnessed by our exit from the stadium with no problems. I want the truth and the Government owes me and everyone else at that game and that live in this area the TRUTH instead of some of the dumbest statements I have ever heard.

We are not a bunch of vigilantes that are going to go around trying to take Arabs out -- they didn't it after 9-11 and they would not do it now. I do have a gripe about Boren taken the word of Arab students claiming they have had hate crimes when they haven't and kicking out regular white students for a semester. Bias in favor of Arab students is nothing short of astounding.

BTW, we don't have cameras in our parking garages because the ACLU objects. I am tired of the PC crap and I want the TRUTH. I can handle it and so can other Oklahomans even if Boren can't!

My mini rant!
