Strange that a Muslim would have a memorial service in the Lutheran Church. Apparently his parents were unaware of his recent conversion which to me says, parents know they children and keep them close.

PhiKapMom, you are doing a great job!!!

OK. David Shippers confirms. It's true. Bush the Elder left one heck of a mess for junior to deal with in the Middle East...plus he imports them. Sheeeeeeesh!

Wow, talk about a blast from the past. I called and talked to David Shippers during the IMPEACHMENT hearings. He was very informed and answered all my questions, honestly, as it turned out.

Bush the Elder would have dealt with the "mess" from The Gulf War had Ross not thrown a temper tantrum and garnered so much of the vote. We ended up with Clinton, who could have cared less about national security, but more about raising money for his legacy.

You're right. Sometimes hindsight gets foggy. Ross really gummed up the mess. Bush didn't seem to put his heart into the election. At the time, I thought he wasn't feeling well. I still wonder.

The deal with cinnamon is very simple ~ drop a quarter to a full teaspoon per day of ground cinnamon into a cup of hot coffee or tea. The active ingredient that helps you metabolize insulin will dissolve in the water. The other, non watersoluable, but mildly carcinogenic oils and solids will then precipitate out in the bottom of the cup.

BTW, do not put in any cream since it's going to hold the oils and solids in suspension.

Drink the tea or coffee down to the grounds. Throw the rest away.

I wouldn't cook with the stuff. Nasty!!!!

The real story as to why Ross ran against Bush 41! Ross owned a software company that had a contract with the Bush Administration. Ross tried to require a licensing agreement for every computer that used the software he was already paid to develop and install. Bush said no, Ross threw a nationwide temper tantrum. When Clinton came in he threw out all the Bush computers and installed all Apples (Apple owner supported Clinton).

I have not heard that explanation before. I hard that Perot somehow blamed Bush for Viet Nam and for an event during which some of his employees were kidnapped.

Your explanation makes more sense.

The Viet Nam explanation makes more sense. Perot had people on the ground working to get Christmas gifts/aid/etc. to the POWs (through various postal agencies around the world). He thought he had Nixon's approval.

What he didn't know was that Nixon had had a bombing planned in the same area at the same time.

Had a friend working as USPS liaison with the UPU for Perot on the scene at the time. The guys involved in the first efforts to improve things for the POWs were everafter fairly distrustful of the government. However, the work along this line continued until 1973 with the "official" end of our direct involvement in Viet Nam.

Things go on in this world you never hear about, and if you do, they seem unbelievable.

It was under Jimmy Carter that some of Perot's employees were held captive in Iran.

Perot's difficulties with "W" and "W"'s dad have to do with Texas politics ~ period, and they probably do have something to do with Viet Nam ~ but you have to remember one of Perot's best buddies over the years has been Ollie North. "W"'s dad (as Vice President) didn't pick up the slack and save Ollie from prosecution by vengeful, vicious Democrats.

Burr shot Hamilton over less.

I was not able to see the videos re: the attempts to gain entry to the stadium and the ticket to Algeria in the apartment. These video's disappear don't they after a certain amount of time? It seems the key issue to prove - and an easy one to prove - is whether or not the suicide bomber did in fact try to get into the stadium. If he did and he was stopped, somebody at one of those gates is a hero for doing their job and stopping a bloody terrorist attack! And, if he did, everything else Boren and the father is saying - is simply false. And every bit of coverup is huge.

All it would take is to interview all the gate checkers and show the boy's picture and ask if anyone saw this boy try to gain entrance. Other than that all we have is this video that is no longer available and hearsay to prove the one point that would clear up the debate (among the professional coveruppers) instantly.

Bill Manders At KKOH Reno, NV Carrying The Real Story

A talk show host on the local ABC affiliate, KKOH AM 780 in Reno, NV is carrying this story and has made it the theme of his show today.

He seems to be up on the details and, like myself and an increasing number of people familiar with this case, wants to know why this story is not being carried nationally.

This is the first time I have heard of a nationally-affiliated radio station openly carrying the details about Hinrich's attempts to enter the stadium and Muslim ties.

Manders is pushing the Muslim ties more than I would like (I haven't seen them proven yet, and urge caution about jumping to conclusions), but the important thing is that he is using the extensive coverage of KKOH to spread the news about the media blackout of this story to a wider audience.

At some point, critical mass may well be achieved, which would drive this story out into the mainstream. If that happens, a lot of “mainstreamers” will have some explaining to do.

This is scandalous.

Short Time Listener...

I don't listen to radio much, but have been checking in over the past several days, and caught Bill Manders talking about this today.

People commuting home from work listen to KKOH by the thousands during rush hour, so this story is well-placed for the area.

He has been reading off the emerging details on the air and isn't holding anything back. Bill Manders is definitely not on board with the cover-up, and sounds as pissed as I do about it.

I called KKOH at 4:14 today and spoke briefly with Mr. Manders on the air.

Here's what we discussed:

- I thanked him for carrying the story, and told him I had been following it since Saturday when it broke.

- I said I was stunned about the disparities between national coverage and local coverage.

- He said he first started covering it on Wednesday, but I missed that.

- I pointed out that even if we go with the official story at face value, it is technically a “suicide bombing” and that there's no reason why the national press wouldn't cover it unless it's being squelched.

- I said I wanted to avoid jumping on the conspiracy theory bandwagon, and that “conspiracy theory is a fun hobby, but a terrible religion.”

- I suggested that there may not necessarily be sinister motives for squelching the story.

- I observed the other terrorism-related stories breaking around the U.S., and conjectured that perhaps this incident was part of a larger story.

And that was my minute and forty seconds of fame. :^P

I chose the points I did to attempt to counter the rather strong anti-Islamist theme of his broadcast. I'm not pro-Islamist, but I think it is important to present the facts as objectively as possible and let people decide for themselves where the evidence leads.

While I would prefer to hear more balanced perspectives from Mr. Manders, I am very happy to see more news sources carrying this story.

He appears to have dedicated all three hours of his show today to this topic, has been repeating the important details provided by the local news outlets who are actually investigating this and is asking listeners if they've heard of this story, and making a big deal of the news blackout. Bravo!

Despite the national blackout, the story is still spreading and being heard.

Maybe the system works after all.

The Podcast Perspective

For those who may be interested, I've been ranting bout this via podcast on AboveTopSecret.com in this thread:

Spike: The Oklahoma Suicide Bomber (Podthread)

The podcasts can also be retrieved via the ATS Podcast Feed (XML).

Or my personal member feed: Majic Podcast Feed (XML).

If you can stomach my whiny tirades, I discuss my concerns about this case in detail.

Let's keep digging and not let this story be buried!

NOTE: One of the callers reports having heard of this story on the Michael Savage show. If so (I haven't been following his show), that would be a national figure addressing the story.

Illegitimi non carborundum.

. It is reported by a station in Colorado.

But they say they got the information from their sister station in OK City.

drop a quarter to a full teaspoon per day of ground cinnamon into a cup of hot coffee or tea.

I tried that. Tasted like Saddam's dirty socks. Taking it in capsules seems to work OK.

The problem is when you start consuming a large quantity of cinnamon you are increasing your contact with the carcinogenic chemicals in it.

I thought it best to eliminate that risk.

BTW, I've totally removed sugar and starch from my diet. Fortunately I have an hereditarily LOW cholesterol level ~ barely over 100 ~ when I was younger it was even less and the doctors always wanted samples of my blood for research.

Cinnamon makes things taste sweeter to me now.
