Indeed. I prefer the Confederate flag to be used in the historical context of the soldiers who fought and died for it. I don't like to see it on bikinis or underwear etc.

But, the flag is often used as just a generic symbol of rebelliousness, with no racial motives, and I understand that. NASCAR folks are generically rebellious in that sense.

This dude is going to irritate the customers that have been paying the bills, in favor of people who are not interested in his sport.

They hired a real dummy, and he is going to try to wrench NASCAR into being something that it is naturally not. Thats real dumb, it might make this new CEO feel good, but its not going to increase profits which is his job.
