Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi said on Sunday US officials have conveyed "contradictory and ambiguous" positions in their comments on Iran's nuclear activities.
"Why is the United States not destroying its nuclear weapons if these are bad? Why does it not start a global campaign to destroy nuclear weapons? "We have repeatedly said that Iran does not seek nuclear weapons. The United States wants to propagate a public policy that has no clear end," the Iranian official stated, according to Irna. President Bush
Asefi, moreover, said that US President George W. Bush has antagonized the Islamic world and "this will not be beneficial to the US Administration." He then expressed his regret to the American people for having this kind of president.
Asefi also warmly felicitated International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) chief Mohamed ElBaradei for winning this year's Nobel Peace Prize for his untiring efforts to use diplomacy to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons. He urged ElBaradei to continue the IAEA's professional approach to resolving nuclear issues.

"...has antagonized the Islamic world and "this will not be beneficial to the US Amdministration.""
Well, call me thin-skinned, but I'm still feeling a little "antagonized" by the Arab Muslim terrorists who attacked my country on 9/11. In fact, the deafening silence and continued indifference of the Arab world has not "beneficial" to me personally, my family, or my countrymen. I really am fed up with the "Arab street" and since Almighty God seems to be redesigning the world anyhow, I strongly believe that we should pitch in and turn that street into a parking lot. NOW.

Yeah right! And we will feel sorry for Iran when the high temperature in Tehran reaches 10,000,000 degrees kelvin
