Defending their ever more raucous stance against Miers.They are now "patiently" explaining to us morons just what is at stake here. The new tact is wearing thin for me. I don't appreciate being thought of as stupid. And I really resent that not even Laura Bush is allowed to voice an opinion without a whole segment of Rush Limbaugh's valuable broadcast time being devoted to raking her over the coals. His rant about the people who "are being paid to run around defending Miers", was beneath contempt. How much does he suppose Laura is being paid?

Rush's problem is that HE WANTED A FIGHT.
A lot of conservatives are upset that we may not have to have a bloody knowdown-dragout fight with the dems.
Somehow they think that the conservative movement needs a fight for the USSC more than it needs a conservative justice on it.
