"19 agents (just like 9/11) and a Sunday date? Of course it was a hoax. I am continually amazed at how easy it is to get everyone all lathered up."

I can see you now. After jumping from the 14th floor of the terrorist-bombed building yelling, "I thought it was a hoax!"

We should appoint you the confirmation HUB for all things terrorist!

Ever been in NYC on a Sunday?....No?....Didn't think so.

Compared to a normal workday, the place is a ghost town on the weekends. There is no reason to bomb the city when there is noone here.

But by all means let's continue to check random bags at the highest visibility entrances to the subways. The fact is that even the most remote entrances in the outer buroughs, that don't have the checks, can get anyone to Grand Central, Times Square or any of the other major locations.

I am all for prudent and effective measures, but idiocy helps noone, wastes time and money that could be better spent elsewhere and scares most of the public while the rest just see the boy who continues to cry wolf.

But hey, at least they are doing something, right?
