They need to speak up - not all of Philadelphia's robbers got the news.

***According to the Philadelphia Police Department's report, an assailant flashed a bulge in his belt to a female clerk and demanded the store's money******

If he had flashed a bulge in his pants would she have had sex with him?

There are very few places more deserving of a holdup.

It's unlikely the store will press charges or pursue any further police action about the robbery.

Kewl! Let me just write down their address in case I ever need some quick cash.

"James Generic, a member of the volunteer collective that operates the not-for-profit bookstore, said, "It was the individual who was staffing when the storefront was robbed who called the police, since she was extremely shaken up and it was not the organization's decision... though we will support her in any way we can.""

Just a generic dipchit.

Attention all robbers/peddlers/crackheads/gangbangers in Philly:

The store at 508 S. 5th will not call the cops on you. They also don't have guns. Please report to this location immediately for your crack money. This is NOT a drill. I repeat, NOT a drill.

But seriously, some areas in Philly are downright crazy. I once witnessed a pizza man getting shot pointblank to the head just for his pizza by some crackhead. The guy didn't even steal his money. It was a few feet away from me and I'm lucky to be alive. They still haven't caught the dirtbag and I'm afraid he might recognize me if I go back there.

State patrol cops spend most of their time writing tickets, but who do they depend on to call in tips about suspicious vehicles, Amber Alerts, or BOLO's? That's right - the very same citizens they depend on for ticket revenue. Just as odd as this story - except that it happens all day, every day.

This reminds me of the many times a gang banger whose fellow bangers call 911 after he's been gunned down in a drive-by shooting. When the police arrive, nobody knows a damn thing except that they'll take care of the problem.

Reminds me of a bumper sticker from the 60's:

"Next time you're being mugged, call a hippie."

Quick! Someone print up a huge sign and advise all criminals in the area that there's a free meal ticket in town at the local anarchist's shop!
