Up the Creek: Out to Embarrass Bush Over Alleged Video Stunt, Today Gets Caught in Stunt of Its Own
In a deliciously ironic twist of fate, shortly before airing a segment aimed at embarrassing the Bush administration by suggesting that it had staged a video conversation between the president and soldiers in Iraq, the Today show was caught staging . . . a video stunt.

Today's timing couldn't have been worse. A preceding segment focused on the incessant rains and ensuing flooding in the northeast. For days now, beautiful, blonde - and one senses highly ambitious - young reporter Michelle Kosinski has been on the scene for Today in New Jersey, working the story. In an apparent effort to draw attention to herself, in yesterday's segment she turned up in hip waders, standing thigh-deep in the flood waters.
Taking her act one step further, this morning she appeared on a suburban street . . . paddling a canoe. There was one small problem. Just as the segment came on the air, two men waded in front of Kosinki . . . and the water barely covered their shoe tops! That's right, Kosinski's canoe was in no more than four to six inches of water!

I just watched the video. She says it's hard to control the canoe. The problem is every time she puts the paddle in the water it stops abruptly when it his the street. ( about 3 times in the video)

The msm has been staging news and faking stories like Blather did...for decades. I wonder how many stories we've been told were actually true? So much spin, for so long, we are bombarded with BS from the leftwing media.

I recall a totally STAGED event. It was Feb 2003. Lurch kerry had been told in Oct 2002 that he had prostate cancer. In November 2002 he told the media of his intention to run for prez. The following February of 2003, he FINALLY revealed to the public via the msm that he was going into the hospital for prostate surgery because of prostate cancer.
kerry showed up for his hospital admission at night, wearing a leather military "bomber" style jacket and was taped "vigorously sprinting" into the hospital entrance after a few staged words with the msm outside. I remember thinking..WHAT A PUTZ. He knew he had cancer for 2 months prior and didn't tell the VOTERS a thing. Kept it all under wraps but announced his presidential bid BEFORE he told the voters he had CANCER.
Typical libnut scumbag.
The article I read said nothing about a script. Allison Barber, deputy assistant defense secretary, asked; "If a question comes up about partnering — how often do we train with the Iraqi military — who does he go to?"
That is not a script. It's asking if a certain type question comes up, who is the expert on that subject.
That is done so the camera man can know in advance where his camera should be aimed for that shot. And the sound man also has to know.
Again, the MSM knows this! They know exactly why you have to go through this. They are just trying to fool those of you who have never been around on air broadcasting.
That's all this whole thing is, direction for the camera man, the sound man and the TV crew.

“OK, so let’s just walk through this,” Barber said. “Captain Kennedy, you answer the first question and you hand the mike to whom?”BR?
“Captain Smith,” Kennedy said.
“Captain. Smith? You take the mike and you hand it to whom?” she asked.
“Captain Kennedy,” the soldier replied.
And so it went.
“If the question comes up about partnering — how often do we train with the Iraqi military — who does he go to?” Barber asked.
“That’s going to go to Captain Pratt,” one of the soldiers said.
See? That's all the whole thing is, it's direction for the camera man, the sound man and the TV crew. And the MSM knows that!

Yes, Rush called her "Robinson" instead of Kosinski.
I would have a lot funnier if Looter Guy had walked in front of her with a load of Heinnekins in a tub.
