Your fantasies are getting the best of you. Didn't you read it? THERE WERE THIRTY PEOPLE AT THE HEARING WHO KNOW THIS FAMILY THROUGH A LOCAL HOME SCHOOL GROUP. If you think they would do that if the family was locking the kid away, you are one sick human being. Well, the room did smell like urine. I have a hard time imainging how that could be the case.

My son peed through his pullup the other night and his room smelled like urine until I stripped his bed, which I forgot to do til mid afternoon. How's that for a plausible scenario?

Many kids bedwet. RAD kids are usually sleeping with a mattress on the floor often without bedding, their choice.

"Bladder control problems" translates often to mean wetting the bed at night. That would be enough to make the room smell of urine, even if only one episode had happened since the room had been cleaned last.
