I have never been convinced by the A/C overheating claim. I used to know one witness who swore to have seen ground-to-air activity. It's all very peculiar. Like the Phoenix lights. Except with many lost lives. And a connection to the JFK airport which seems to have been involved in many incidents near and disastrous.

the unused theory seems pretty plausible....
on the other hand, you would think that someone... like freeh, for example, would have spilled the beans by now; since if this was actually a cover-up, it could only have been covered up for one reason.
What about the radar blip? A ghost image. Is that a common occurence?
Lots of weird stuff is common with all sorts of radar.
