Rep. Kirt Weldon is on Michael Savage's radio program, and he is implying Rumsfeld is the one blocking further investigation into Able Danger.
Weldon is fuming; says he personally (in a committee hearing) asked Rumsfeld about the investigation being blocked. Rumsfeld replied that he would 'get back to Weldon with a response.' Weldon says he still has gotten nothing from Rumsfeld.
Weldon to give a speech in a few moments this evening on the floor of the House. It should be aired on CSPAN this evening.
Did anyone capture this? We need a copy for future reference.

I turned the TV off. Please tell me what he said about Sandy Bergler...

AGREED in prayer with guardian angels to surround every person EVERYWHERE who stands up and speaks the truth, AMEN.
Weldon is outraged about the treatment of Lt. Col Schaffer and talked extensively about that.
Weldon said in his remarks that The Able Danger Team established and warned higher-ups that the USS Cole was going to be bombed two weeks before it happened...!
That's why whomever did it was really stupid if they sent him new pens with five classified documents.

If only we could continue to make the connection of Able Danger with Sandy Berger stealing files.
I guess it's just easier to keep the focus on Delay instead by the major media. Another travesty.
Mo1----I have a feeling this will be repeated on C-span at some time...it was great!
But, if not on C-span...I am sure that Fox will show clips of it tomorrow...
Weldon was yelling and pounding the podium...he was pleading with the powers that be to investigate this..and most of all, NOT to ruin Lt. Col. Schaeffer for coming forward.
A couple of times he said he would leave the House..before he would let something like this happen...but, then said he wants to stay and make sure this gets taken care of.
There were a few things and names of people that he said he couldn't talk about...but, he said he is worried not only about Lt. Col. Schaeffer's career, but his safety as well.
But, like Bahbah said....just reading the words don't do it justice.
Rep. Weldon thanked some congressmen and senators by name who were supporting him is this effort. That's encouraging.

She could have ulterior motives. She knows that this can bring down Rumsfeld, and even the presidency, if Rummy or Bush tries to cover this up. And if there is a coverup, she wants her place in the history books.
5 classified documents to Tony Schaeffer and then said they didn't exist. That's a felony. Included in those boxes, 500 hundred dollars worth of fed property including a GPS system, I guess to keep. 25 pens, brand new and marked on them "property of the U.S. Govt."...
Oh, dear --- I think I just totally screwed up Schaeffer's rank....
I posted that he is a Lt. Col...instead of a Maj. Gen...LOL

Some say that we get the govenment we deserve. I have never believed that. Do we get behind someone like Weldon. We do what we can. We, the LITTLE PEOPLE, have changed the government policy on illegal aliens, maybe. Can we do something with Able Danger, and Lt. Col. Scaffer. We can have a go at it. Let's try.
