Being reported on FNC right now. Subway fire in Greenwich Village station. Appears to be ordinary fire, says FNC report.

I'm in midtown Manhattan. Hundreds of people taking the buses along Sixth Avenue. I was told by bus driver there is a fire in the subway downtown. No other info yet. Don't think it's anything big as the rest of the city seems quite normal.
To: Ragnar Danneskjold
...normal subway trash fire, no indication of anything else.

It's kinda chilly up here in the Northeast this morning, are they sure it's not just warm air from the subway meeting the cold air above ground and causing clouds of condensation?

Subway fires and water main breaks are relatively common in NYC, especially lower Manhattan where the infrastructure is 19th century.

Maybe the Subway is burning a meatball sub?
Seriously, any news, let those of us cubicle-bound FReepers know.
