FYI---the Nevada CWP does specify the model of firearm you are permitted to carry concealed, but not a serial number--and was modified a few years ago to permit more than two on the CWP--

They still don't have reciprocity though, thanks to Bernie Anderson (D-Reno) who, as head of the judiciary committee, bottles up that bill every time the legislature meets. Yet the NRA gives him an "A" while his Republican challenger gets a lesser grade.

Indeed, the state is turning bluer almost every month. The article mentioned in passing that the background check fee now was $25. Originally it was $15, with the promise that it would be used only to buy the necessary computers, after which it would be reduced/repealed. As of this legislative session, it went to $25, without even a complimentary jar of vaseline.

This mimics the requirement for an Alaska CCW (and yours is good up BTW) - that is until the Gov signed an executive order allowing local residents to CCW without permits - for those who would be eligible. Guess he figured bad guys would carry anyway.

Just hope we don't elect a Dim for Gov next time around.

And while it may be costly, at least you can get a CCW. When I lived in Las Vegas, you have to scam something like being a part time deputy - to even carry.

Glad I left - nice folks still live, just not enough.
