A Dutch politician who has announced her bid for the chairmanship of the largest party in the polls, the Labour Party, was involved in the cover-up of a gang-rape five years ago.
Thirteen year old, retarded Tessa was brutally gang-raped for months by 14 Moroccans aged between 9 and 16 years old. She was threatened by a gun (that later turned out to be a fake).
After the police were informed of the crime, the District chairman, Annemarie Hoogland, immediately assembled a project group. But not to prevent further horrible crimes like this, but to keep people from knowing that such a thing had happened in their neighourhood.
She also saw to it that the 14 rapists got help, that they got courses where they learned how they could defend themselves. But not to Tessa. They did nothing for her. She was badly traumatised by her experience, and they did nothing for her for two years. Eventually, she attempted suicide and began to hurt herself. Then the parents decided that enough was enough and decided to inform the media of this tragedy.
This was between 1999 and 2001. All the media reported this.
But a few months ago, she announced that she would take a shot at the chairmanship of the Labour Party (the largest one in the polls). Now, the media refuse to write anything about what she has done to this country and that poor girl. The voting is already underway (between 19 and 31 of October), but people mostly don't know about what she has done. Fortunately, someone made a website about this.
What is your opinion about all this? And is there anyway we can get the American media to report something about this (surely that would break the silence here)? Maybe Drudge?
Clearly you don't understand WHY I have the screen name I have. My outrage is AGAINST CANADA. I HATE these corrupt liberals. Canada DOES have many conservatives however. The problem is, we live in the West mostly and the majority of seats are located in the heart of LIBERAL LAND.
Insulting Canada doesn't offend me at all if that was your purpose. However, the Netherlands are STILL worse. Frankly it should be called the Netherworld.!! They have NO morals whatsoever. My Dutch Christian friend here said he and his wife will NEVER return to holland again. And thankgoodness the democratic process works in Canada because it would become a sad place if the Canadian conservatives and their leader ever get political power.

and what he's not disclosing in his crime stats is that we have more stringent reporting/classification for crimes like rape, and much of what we consider a criminal act in the USA is not considered a crime in the Netherlands...the home of 'no body, no crime'.

Mama I'm not one to defend the Canadian Federal Government but it sure is a number of cuts above the Dutch!! Rape IS a crime here. Politicians even get prosecuted from time to time. The Dutch have a completely immoral society all their own. Of course there a good Dutch folks but they are in the minority it would appear and they are non existent in Government.
They way it’s going over there, I would believe either.
