I should have said I see no hatred in the lyrics that were cited. As to those you cite, I don't see them as hateful, but rather as glorifying some pretty "iffy" people. However, the glorification of people who don't deserve it doesn't in itself constitute hatred as much as ill-directed hero worship.
Rudolph Hess, a guy who started a crummy band, and a deluded paranoic probably aren't devils, as much as I disagree with them. They certainly aren't any more -- or less -- demonic than their black counterparts who trade in hatred daily, and with impunity.
The ongoing assault on middle-class sensibilities will inevitably give rise to this kind of reaction. It is a historical, dialectical certainty. People on the Left shouldn't act surprised when black racism is countered by white racism. The solution is to stop racism. Period. Not to allow certain forms of it as a way of apologizing for sins long expiated.
By the way, "Prussian Blue" is a common chemical compound (a cyanate salt of iron), and a color in the artistic pallete. It got its name from the dye used to color Prussian army uniforms.
Thanks.
This longs me for the days of "Der Further's Face"...
