What is the point of hearing a known liar give a speech?
To: inpajamas
It figures this meathead would be addressing another bunch of meatheads.
You want to see the biggest bunch of whiners in the Nation's Capital? Fine, just go to the National Press Club bar on Friday around 5:30 PM. You will hear nothing but moaning and groaning and how the scoops know more than everyone in town. It's quite a show.
They are also lousy dressers.

Interesting timing, tells you two things.
#1 They want to have him on hand to comment on any possible indictments.
#2 He was NOT given a letter telling him he or his wife are in jeopardy of charges, for if they were, he would not be talking to the press club on this date.
Very interesting...

He's been giving speeches pretty regularly for some time.
He knows that if there is indictments, they would be this week, so this would be the speech he would give.
If there are no indictments, he needs to have a speech to denounce the prosecuter, or to take stuff from what the prosecuter says and tell us how it means there really was a coverup even though they couldn't indict.
Now, if his appearance is suddenly cancelled, I'd expect the MSM to assume he was being indicted.

Just caught Bush's live speech at the Economic Club, on C-Span.
Bush seemed very clear-headed and confident.

Perhaps an official notification was delivered to one of the Wilsons at home the other day, under the cover of Fitzgerald's people interviewing their neighbors.
All that hoopla about speaking with the neighbors would have distracted the presstitutes from noticing an official wandering over to the Wilson's back door to deliver a letter.

How funny would it be if Joe WIlson were to be indicted by Friday?
This Joe Wilson clown is such a lying POS...it amazes me that ANYONE would bother to listen - let alone pay money - to hear anything he has to say!
When I think of JOe Wilson a little rhyme comes to mind: "Liar, liar, pants on fire!"...
Ugh...

. . . a question and answer . . . Let's hope the first question is, "Will the defendant please rise?" and the 2nd one is "How do you plead?"
To: inpajamas
I hope he's out on bail Monday.

This man is truly pathetic. Does he crave public attention?
To: inpajamas
Let's hope this pompous, lying a**hole is answering why he's under indictment.

Wilson's appearance on Monday suggests he expects indictments to come -- or something to happen in the White House leak case -- by Friday.
"...suggests he expects indictments to come..." or KNOWS there are indictments to come? I would guess it will be the latter. If they get away with this and the WH folds, how long do you think it will be until Bush resigns?
