"We were talking earlier this week about medical insurance, and I was talking about how expensive mine is. $420 a month, plus a $500 deductible per person, per year. She starts bragging about her "plan", saying that she gets everything free and "it dont' cost me nothin' - it's great!" I simply said, "you're welcome" and walked out of the room."

And I'm sure she didn't get it at all.

It's the inexorable advance of socialism, and I really don't see how we can stop it.

By the way, that irresponsible woman you work with? She's probably never done anything responsible in her life. But watch her get "educated," and register to vote, and vote for Hillary in 2008.

A good start would be for so called Republicans to stop acting as Socialist enablers.

Right on, man.

And it's the exact same attitude that we all witnessed in the aftermath of Katrina. Bunch of irresponsible people waiting around for the government to solve their problems for them. Lord forbid it if they actually picked up a shovel or a trash can and started doing something for themselves! Goodness no!

The spirit of self-determination and self-preservation has long sense departed a large portion of this country's population.
