I have no problem with Fitz other than he originally could find no wrongdoing and decide to keep digging until he could find something. No matter just how miniscule the 'something' is.
This does prove, however, just how bad the SP statute is.
It should be dropped.

Ha Ha. You guys are almost as funny as Clinton's people were when they ridiculed Ken Starr! Meaning: Not funny at all. If Libby lied to a grand jury - and it looks like he did - then Fitz is just doing his job by holding him accountable. It's sad to see conservatives on freerepublic defending law-breaking.

You are confused. I am not attacking or demonizing Fitzgerald.
As for Libby, the charges sound damning - he will have his day in court, but the inconsistency in the use of perjury, obstruction, and false statement charges by prosecutors generally is IMHO a violation of the Constitution's guarantee of equal protection of the law.
