It won't matter. The outcry wouldn't be any different if
RvW were overturned some other way.

I just realized that I didn't make my first question clear--I was asking about Luttig, not Alito. Of course I know Alito's history on the Second. I have never seen much about Luttig on the subject, but am asuming that since he's a strict conservative, he's A-ok on the Second.
