Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald did not find evidence to prove that there was a "broad conspiracy to out a covert agent for political gain. He did not find evidence of wide-ranging criminal behavior. He did not even indict the media's ordained villain, Karl Rove," writes David Brooks in Sunday's NY TIMES....Hofstadter argued that sometimes people who are dispossessed, who feel their country has been taken away from them and their kind, develop an angry, suspicious and conspiratorial frame of mind. It is never enough to believe their opponents have committed honest mistakes or have legitimate purposes; they insist on believing in malicious conspiracies.

"So some Democrats were not content with Libby's indictment, but had to stretch, distort and exaggerate."
He's got that right - except that he neglected to mention that many of those Democrats are in the news media.
Typo? No, I believe they really ARE viscous, as well as vicious! Once they have their talking points in hand, they stick together like a closetfull of wire coat hangars.
Democrats think they have a chance to put the next President into office. They also feel that they are morally superior to "common" Americans. It is this supposed moral superiority that inflames them against a demonized president. They also believ their own lies
and live in an alternate reality which is reenforced by the MSM.
When ever evidence which fliys in the face of their little alternate reality, they go nuts! I mean Fitzgerald spent
milllions of dollars to obtain a perjury indictment
against a third level bureaucrat? That is a raw failure and all the yelling and teeth nashing by Dems cannot and will not change that fact. In the end they will make fools of themselves and further alienate the American public from the Democrat cause.
We should celebrate their continued stupidty.
We come to praise Ceasar ( Dem Nat Com)not to kill him?
Lets hope they keep looking like idiots in front of the
unbridled facts.
