Hey, Howie. America "does not" look like Rosa Parks!!!I guess Screamin' Dean will stand up and cheer when JP Stevens or Darth Vader Ginsberg is replaced by Janice Rogers Brown, eh?
To: CTOCS
Rosa Parks seems to be one of the dems' talking points regarding Judge Alito. Wow, they sure got that memo out fast! Ahhhh, the information age!

"President Bush shouldn't try to use the nomination of an extreme conservative to distract from the ethical problems his White House is facing. Three days after a top White House official was indicted, President Bush continued his troubling pattern of playing to his right-wing political base in times of political trouble. In an indication of his weakened political position, Bush has nominated Samuel Alito, a conservative activist judge, to replace Justice O'Connor, who has been a voice of moderation on the Court for a generation. Gee, you'd think Dean would be very quiet on this subject and would want W to keep digging his grave deeper...IF this is what he truly believes. Somebody's not being honest here. bwhahahaha!!!

"President Bush shouldn't try to use the nomination of an extreme conservative to distract from the ethical problems his White House is facing...."True. Bush should have taken a lesson from the dems and fired a cruise missle at a goat.

"He's on the same page as Kerry and Kennedy. This is great to hear."
This is one of my favorites from the DUmmies' crazy website. If I were on "the same page" as Kerry and Kennedy, I'd really rethink my position, but the DUmmies love this "talking point" stuff.

"uses his position on the highest court in the land to protect and advance the fundamental rights and personal freedoms of all Americans" It is not the role of the Supremes to ADVANCE rights.
Dean thereby proves liberal court members are the "activists."

Well, it looks like Howard Dean left out the fact that Alito burns minorities in effigy, putting life cats inside the dummies, that he kicks a puppy every 10 minutes, and that he is against 'saving the poor ickle whales'
"Basic reproductive rights?" WIHHN is up what that? I guess he means abortion, but I'd hardly call that a "basic reproductive right due to its retroactive effects on reproduction in the strictly medical sense.
In summary, Howard Dean should take off the village idiot ma...oh wait, it's not a mask.

"Behind me you can see the remains of Liberalism and its world view. I am glad to be the President who helps restore America a little bit more like it is supposed to be...not like Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton and Chuck Schumer think it ought to be. Let this flame be the kick off of the Conservative Christmas Season.....Oh, and Yes, there WILL be a Manger Scene on my front lawn this year. Tell it to the ACLU."

[In an indication of his weakened political position, Bush has nominated Samuel Alito, a conservative activist judge, to replace Justice O'Connor, who has been a voice of moderation on the Court for a generation. "A lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court of the United States is too important to be sacrificed on the altar of short-term political gain. President Bush's nomination of Alito is not leadership, it is capitulation.]
Howard Dean has finally cracked!!!
I think he actually believes that when the President nominates a candidate to the Supreme Court who is exactly what he wants and exactly what the opposition doesn't want, knowing there will be a fight over it, yet still expecting to win, then that represents a position of weakness.
This reminds me of when Dean said the Kelo v. New London decision taking away the property rights of private citizens was a result of Bush's Supreme Court policies even though ALL of the judges in the majority were liberal "living document" believers and President Bush hadn't appointed anybody to the Supreme Court yet.
I wonder what color the sky is on the planet where Chairman Dean lives.

"Extreme Conservative" means "Strict Originalist"
