Homosexuals should be given support and encouragement to lead chaste lives, if these colleges truly cared about them. The Church and its colleges have no right to adopt the gay activist ideology which is inimical with the teachings of the Catholic faith. Shame on these colleges!

One sign of how far the universities have come in openly addressing gay issues is that the dean's office and campus ministry at Jesuit-run Santa Clara provided money for the event, while the school's president sent a welcome letter to participants, said Lisa Millora, assistant dean for student life.

Isn't Jesuit pretty much a synonym for rabid queer activist these days?

Homosexuality is decreed in the Catholic Religion to be a Mortal sin. If you practice homosexuality and die without benefit of Absolution, you are condemned to eternity in hell. If you choose not to believe this, that's OK, you just can't be a Catholic. You can be a loyal American, a Patriot, anything that you want to be, just not a Catholic. It is the same thing as divorce. This will bring out a whole lot of flamers but if you are a true Catholic and are divorced, and you remarry, you are living in sin. Too bad, that's the rules. Both of my children {Baptized in the Catholic Faith} are divorced. What a dilemma. It's never easy.

"There are a lot of people who subscribe to Catholic values as they relate to academic work, but don't necessarily agree with how the Catholic Church carries out its work," Millora said.

Then find another church, and stop wrecking this one.

Ya know, I keep forgetting which line it was in the Bible where God approved that life choice. Remind me and I'll be sure to mark it.

The University of Dayton, where I teach, has been trying to promote "gay friendly" policies for several years. This year, they had a homosexual activist speaking on campus. It's a sin and a shame---and I'm not even Catholic!

One of the (conservative) brothers in the Marianist order tells me it's rife with homosexuality. As in, "most."

(Somewhere, on campus at a Catholic university. We see a table set up in the middle of campus. There is banner over it that says "Campus Association for Humanity)

CHIP (A new freshman): Hi, this is my first day here!

Billy (behind the table): Oh! That's just great! Please take one of our brochures.

CHIP: OK. Hey, there are two guys kissing on this? What the heck?

Billy: We are here to give everyone the right to live the way they want. Gay people are just like anyone else! We have feelings and love each other. I could explain this to you later over a beer if you like? (smiling)

CHIP: Dude! I've never met a gay guy before but don't you let a guy stick his pecker up your butt then stick it in your mouth?

Billy and others behind the table: Oh my God! You can't say that! Oh no! You are insensitive and hateful!

CHIP: Yea, sure. I'm sensitive enough to know I don't want a pecker stuck up my rear.

Bill and others: What do we do? Call the police! This is hate!

CHIP (later, in Father Johnson's office): Hey, I just told them what they do. What's the big deal? It's true and it's gross!

Father Johnson: You cannot talk that way! You must show tolerance. We cannot point at others the way you did and be critical. You were hateful and wrong! Sinful! They love each other just the way everyone else does.

CHIP: Uh huh. Sure Father. If I recall correctly even Jesus got a bit miffed at the Pharisees and Jesus was not to fond of Satan. So even Jesus got a little hacked off sometimes. And what about the "go forth and multiply" in the Bible? What about Sodom? God wasn't too "tolerant" in that case?

Father Johnson (laughing): You have a lot to learn son. Maybe we could go somewhere and have a beer and talk about this? (puts hand on CHIP's thigh).

CHIP: Crap!

Well, they effed up the priesthood by making it way too comfortable for homosexuals. So now they want to take down the colleges, too? Pope Benedict, HELP!

Notre Dame University has had an active gay and lesbian student group for years, but the college does not recognize or provide financial support to the organization

Well, that last part is good.

BTW, Notre Dame University is in Lebanon and there's one in the Phillipines.

The one in South Bend is the University of Notre Dame.

Yes, they're called non-Catholics.

Thanks for the list. Some of the 'Catholic' colleges can't even be called CINO anymore. It's good to hear that some are still truly Catholic.

Most of the schools mentioned are Jesuit, so it's no surprise at all. But I always thought Emory was secular. What denomination controls?

Not a word in that little blurb about living a lifestyle compatible with the teachings of the Bible. I guess needing to look tolerant is more important to these schools than being a place where God's Word is taught and honored.
