Killed the sales tax, cut VAT by 1/3 and there is plans to cut it by another 1/3 and payroll taxes by 1/2 and shrunk the size of government, taking away the perks of the parliamentarians. Furthermore, they are paying off all of their external debt and set up a Anne Rand prescribed emergency fund for recessions, untouchable by the Duma.
