what a darling set of pix Maggie.. you always make good contributions. I will let you know how the movie Jarhead is..

and for you & deadhead.. amazing how different but how similar we all are. If I had cable, I might watch more TV & not do movies - dont know. But I am NOT really a TV / commercial break person.

I do (dont get mad) 6-10 movies a month :& would go twice a day if I could. I love the big screen, comfy seats, great sound etc. I have state of art equipement here but just can't compare. I truly think that I would love being involved in production. I have two relatives who are now involved in movie production and one 2nd cousin a star from years past (debra winger). Not that I get any benefit but when we are together with the production folks it is fun to "talk shop" and they are always thrilled that I am up on movies, techniques, lingo, patterns, directors, producers.. and I know about their principals etc.

I have said before & will say again... I think movie prices are a bargain for what goes into it & ho wmany people are involved. But I also know, to each his own & some folks physically cant handle movies seats, walks etc. are offended by movies easily or just dont like "make believe".

I still love ya'all ... still love me?????

:-)

Absolutely, Dolly. Most people I know go to the movies and enjoy them. I just have never been a movie goer....We can all be very similar and share many of the same beliefs, but at the same time not be exactly the same. That would be boring if we were :-) I love hearing about what other folks do. It is fun, and I love when people have fun. We have one life to live, make the best of it and do what you enjoy.

LOL, here are the movies I have seen at a theater since 1980:

Silence of the Lambs
Independence Day
Star Wars
LOL, that is all I can think of,,,yep...can count them on one hand.

On Saturday, I will be going to see "The Producers"

Daily at work, on my lunch hour, I listen to the Grateful Dead, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell on my ipod as I walk around the pond for exercise. And I enjoy it :-) We are all different and have different interests, thanks be to God :-)
