Did 'revoked' living willkill communicative man?

Family members are investigating what they consider to be suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of a nursing home patient at the center of a life and death tug-of-war reminiscent of the Terri Schiavo tragedy.

Seventy-nine-year-old Jimmy Chambers died in the early morning hours of Oct. 24 after the tracheotomy tubes that deliver oxygen from a ventilator to a hole in his neck became unhooked. Family members were told Chambers, a resident of the Anne Maria Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in North Augusta, S.C., apparently pulled the interlocking tubes apart.

"We're having it investigated. We're just incredulous," Chambers' daughter, Deanna Potter, told WND in reference to her siblings. "The last time I saw dad he was blowing me a kiss. I blew him one and he blew one back."

The retired dispatcher for Holland Motor Express died approximately 10 hours later. His death certificate indicates he died of "natural causes."

"Apparently, suffocation is a 'natural cause' when you're on a ventilator. We're contesting that," said Potter. "He suffocated. He didn't just pass away. He struggled and fought. And I'm just so angry."

Potter estimates it would have taken 10 to 14 minutes for her father, deprived of oxygen, to fall unconscious, and questions why the nursing home staff didn't come to his aid.

"The oxygen-saturation meter and his ventilator both would have had alarms going off. Four-thirty, five o'clock in the morning you'd think someone would hear this," she added. "That's the thing that really bothers me and makes me suspicious."

The nogoodniks had good reason to deny Terri any decent music and singing.

It is truly awe inspiring to behold. Our son could not vocalize or see, and his hearing would otherwise be in question, too. For the most part, he was unresponsive to the world except to keep smiling no matter what.

Except, he would get frantic if rap, heavy metal were played. And he would be in rapture if Beethoven were played. A friend who is a violinist would come and play at his bedside and we would never see him happier. He preferred live music and singing to even the best CD system and loved the singing in church, even trying in those occasions to vocalize, himself. Obviously he could tell the differences and had specific tastes in which classics he preferred.

Otherwise, ordinary popular music had no effect and little evidence remained that he could really hear.

Music and singing reach where otherwise communication would be futile.

Yes, it seemed that this Andressohn matter was adjudicated a few weeks ago. Court TV didn't indicate yesterday whether they were "live" or not. I don't watch Court TV enough to know when they prompt their viewers if it's live or not.

Bottom line is that Florida is still The Starvation State.

At least the death merchants are consistent. Kervorkian should take a hint from the other death merchant I am mentioning below.

Florida is still the starvation state but the parents will be sentenced for child neglect on Dec. 15th. Then a family law judge will need to determine if the dad's half sister is qualified to be the other kids' guardian.

That should be a breeze. If Michael Schiavo could be "Guardian of the Year", Mary Andressohn has nothing to worry about.

There are so many worth guardians out there but their association gave HINO an award. The Fla guardians awarding HINO not only approve of extermination of the disabled but they applaud it.

WORD TO THE WISE: If you get injured or sick in Florida pay attention to the people around you. If you can't speak, God help you.

Re: the euthanasia doctor who committed suicide - people who obsess about dying and promote forcing death upon upon others cannot be sane. Did he live a suicide note? Was he sorry for being a merchant of death?

On the other hand, we believe in the original documents by the founders of this nation. Life and liberty mean something to me and I hope that the US Supreme Court starts interpreting our laws based upon the Constitution instead of furthering the cause of forced death upon Americans when they violated Terri's civil rights for JUDGE GREED(R). www.judgegeorgegreer.com (read up on what the death care system did to Terri's rehab monies and to Terri and the laws that were violated in the State of Florida).

In addition, I recommend Cheryl Ford's book. That link is on my web page.

A euthanasia dude with a conscience? And exacting their own punishment by their suicide. When is the movie coming out? I think mass exposure for these instances aids the movement against euthanasia which is supposed to be illegal in the United States. The loopholes are what kill people along with secrecy (a/k/a "privacy rights".)

the felon used all the loopholes & manipulated a few lap dog judges, clinging vines all and clinging to the goal to kill an innocent woman because there was no turning back.

RE: TERRI, THE FIX WAS IN right after Terri was saved in 2003.

that's a good question, valid point about the party in general (we see how RINO's vote in DC). I didn't know about the guy in St. Pete.

Why not just bring his paraphernalia into his cell, that being the ultimate solution (pun) and all?

Not just loopholes and privacy rights. One of the problems are the conflicting laws. You can't even get the courts to decide which law should be followed, and the presumption is not always towards life when there is a conflict.

Crist was in New York this summer hob knobbing with Trump to do fundraising. If Greer's friends were managing your campaign, you'd probably fundraise out of state too. (Sembler name ring a bell? Like father like son.)

Music therapy and singing are ways the brain can sort information for people who otherwise have difficulties with memory loss and communication. There are musical geniuses who are learning disabled or are legally blind. The brain has a music section. Isn't that kewl?
