CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa—The fiance of a slain girl's mother has asked for a delay in his trial on federal pornography charges.Twenty-six-year-old Casey Frederiksen, of Charles City, was indicted in September for possession of child pornography.
The indictment says there were more than 1,000 still photos or movies on a computer hard drive he had in the apartment he shared with Noel Miller and her daughter -- five-year-old Evelyn Miller.
Evelyn Miller disappeared on July 1. Her body was found five days later along the Cedar River, two miles from her home.
No charges have been filed in her death.
Frederiksen's trial was scheduled for December 5. Federal public defender Jane Kelly filed a motion on Friday asking that the trial be delayed until February.
She says the defense needs time to analyze evidence in the case, including a copy of the computer hard drive and testimony from grand jury witnesses.

Pornography is dangerous, destroys lives, destroys families, destroys relationships, and increases sex crimes. The men who wrote the Bill of Rights would be horrified and disgusted to find that the First Amendment is now considered to protect pornography.

Extremist secularists/leftists (and a whole bunch of other "ists") are doing their best to destroy human civilization. Often in the name of "freedom". They are no doubt supported by various powers that be. The next years will be very interesting.
A few years ago (about 6) I read some articles describing how the general media (discounting places like FR, blogs, and so on) is owned by about 7 or 8 individuals/families. This includes print media - magazines and newspapers, book publishing houses, radio and TV stations, channels, and so forth. This is not conspiracy theory, it is fact. There are some very evil people and organizations who want a lot of power, and in order to have power, people must become weak and enslaveable. No one is a better slave than he who is slave to his own desires. Burke said it better than I can:

Does she mind he's still called that - makes one wonder about her judgement and lifestyle and how it probably led to the death of little Evelyn.

People from the area have said that she was involved with other men while living with the "fiance." So who knows what's going on ...
A Sane innocent mother wouldn't ask for a trial delay, IMO this is a CYA.
The delay was asked for by "Federal public defender Jane Kelly filed a motion on Friday asking that the trial be delayed until February.", not the mother, Noel. That just about caught me too - gender bias, I guess.
what trash, that poor little girl.
A delay of trial motion is a normal occurance so if Noel didnt ask the defender to seek it, this isnt any big deal. If Noel asked for it to be done, is she doing it because she wants to make sure she isnt involved or because she believes Casey is innocent?
In other words, Frederiksen (through his attorney) asked for the delay.

Like i said before Casey gets up to 260 years, a 3 million dollar fine and Noel gets a slap on the wrist, there is just SO much injustice in the world today, a child dies because her mother is to busy worring about her next "lay" or buzz, than the health and wellbeing of her children. That is pathetic. She should be sitting in Lynn County next to Casey. I just personally feel she was just as much to blame than the "fiance" She "stands by her man until he gets busted than it's just off to the next man that will have her.
