And guys like you still think the answer is for American soldiers to prance around the world...

Our soldiers never prance. They walk arm-in-arm with our allies, and stomp our enemies.

I found "http://www.usembassy.at/en/embassy/culture.htm" which does talk about representing minorities so maybe there is such an officer wandering around the embassy...

"I have commented elsewhere on this administration's abject failure to fight affirmative action and other reverse racism throughout the government. I am stunned to hear that this sickness reaches into our embassies."

Look at what Joe Wilson and some in the CIA have tried to do: derail the Bush admin's foreign policy, and possibly the presidency itself.

If Bush decides to take on the State department too, how many more leaks will come out of the cracksto undermine him?

Some day, we need a president who will take these two departments to the woodshed. It's almost like there's a counter government being conducted by some in the federal bureaucracies, and they are waging their own war.

"The reason bush doesn't halt the invasion coming over the US border is because he has sold out to the internationalists agenda. The Mexicans coming over the border are the frontline troops for a greater north american superstate. Now understand that the greater north american superstate is only a stepping stone to a New World Superstate and this is only a stepping stone to ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT."

Most Mexicans coming over want to be Americans.

Most muslims entering Europe want the Euros to become muslims.

There's a big difference.

Yes! Also don't forget the riots (pro-commie) that have happened in Argentina this week.

One more item and you will have it nailed:

Nice long jail terms for executives and boards of directors of corporations that knowingly hire significant number of illegals.

Shorter terms should be reserved for smaller corporations.

Keep these guys in with the bad boys and away from the country club prisons and this problem should go away in a hurry.

"It will be interesting to see how many more Iraqis the US will eventually have to provide refuge for as a result of our continued “obligation” to them stemming from intrusive attempts to save their country. "

rock, your friend makes some good points, but he has his facts wrong on this one. The truth is that Iraqis from all over the world are now returning to Iraq to participate in rebuilding the country. The same thing is happening in Afghanistan. Both countries are experiencing net "immigration", not "emigration".

Rock, yer friend writes well on what he knows, but falls apart on what he doesn't. We all do that. The trick is to avoid THINKING that we KNOW everything (i.e. 'dim-wit' Bush likely did better at Yale, flying jets, etc than your Vienna boy did, etc.).

countries that don’t rely on cheap 3rd World labor, like Japan, are much more apt to develop robots and other technology to do the routine work.

That's wishful thinking. He's been listening to Styx too much. Mr. Roboto doesn't supply all the components for Toshiba and Sony. Mr. Taiwan, Singapore and China do, too.

Robots at GM in Michigan do not affect illegal immigration in Texas one way or another. And robots cannot place concrete like Mexicans can!

So you've apparently heard the joke about Santa Ana arriving at the alamo with his 5000 Mexican soldiers.

Jim Bowie ask Davy Crockett, " Did you order concrete?"

The US has its reasons for supporting Turkey's entry in to the EU. I notice that European countries have no trouble acting against Bush's wishes on other matters, so why don't they just go their own way on this one. Seems to me this fellow has been abroad so long that he's been infected with euro-superiority complex.

By the way, I lived in Brooklyn in 1971 and don't recall any neighborhood going belly up, whatever that means.

I sincerely hope that future administrations fully back Turkish entry into the European Union. I hope that millions of poor Turkomans then stream throughout the continent, and undermine it. Perhaps, then, they can all go to hell.

Yeah - Let's cheer on the destruction of most of Western Civilization. Great idea.

The author is correct. Open border immigration-leftists like Chirac, Ted Kennedy, and George Bush endanger us all.

It sure seems to be the case. I don't see any rational way to explain US border conditions. Dang, things just keep getting better and better. Can you imagine the socialist vote if Mexico and Canada become a part of the good ole USA?I wonder how the senate would respond to treaty ratification?

The company I work for has a Vice President of Diversity. It depresses me that our government engages in the same stupidity.

France, et al. should look to Turkey to learn how to handle radical Islam.

The Turkish Army has the responsibility to protect the Republic from radicals and has done it a few times.

Turkey is a country of Muslims not a Muslim country.

Eggsactly!!

Seriously, though, and I'll get flamed for this tangentially.... but mexican illegals bring, what? Mayan culture? No. They bring Spanish/Catholic culture (generally.) Aside from the dilution of wages and language, there numerous differences between Mexicans from European descent entering an America of Euro-descent -and- Islamists from Middle Eastern descent invading an isolationist Austria.

Worst case, if the reconquista occurs, we get more Catholic churches, decent food, and good beer and liquor.

If the Austrians lose their battle, their women become slaves, food goes to hell, and breweries are shut down.

---

And why the heck is it MY COUNTRY's fault that THEY signed up for the EU in the first place? Remember the E.E.C? That was not supposed to be open borders, but just tariffs and stuff. YOUR FRIEND'S COUNTRY is responsible for allowing the EEC to bloom into the insidious EU....not me and GW!

I fail to see how giving people the right to vote will equate to some sort of policy that equals the respect of other cultures. Muslims will vote to support their culture, not ours.

I have a solution to the president's lame duck second term.

Make George W. Bush the presidential nominee of the PAN.

He's done more for Mexico than any of those tools helping Vincente Fox push that country even further into the toilet than it already is ever have, and has benefited Mexicans more than Santiago Creel could ever hope to.

Plus, he would probably have a much better shot at defeating Manuel Lopez Obrador.

It would be killing two birds with one stone.
