What would everyone have crass cross purposes?
See #61. An oldie but a goodie. LOL
No, not everyone.
LOL
Mail order bride stuff is pretty creepy to me. Just my opinion.
Clue number one that Mr. Dreamboat is more likely a leaky dinghy:
A handsome, cultured, suave mature male with a certain minimal level of affluence has to travel to a foreign country to find a mate at a cattle-call, without even a shared language.
Money-to-brains ratio leans too far to the later.
You've nailed it.
bump
If she claims abuse, she can divorce him, get money, and get to stay in the US as well
On the other hand, if one wishes to obtain a gemstone, one must travel to where the gemstones can be found in abundance. Especially if one finds himself surrounded by slag heaps.
Interesting site, but they should have to tell what they're in for.
Ouch. That hurts my eyes. Please turn it off.
I've seen American women who just go ga-ga over a guy with a foreign accent. I suppose there is something intriguing to many about someone from another culture or a different background. I think that could be some of the attraction for finding mates overseas.
I also agree that American women have often become too demanding and too difficult to impress. It used to be a woman was happy to have a man who was faithful and a good father. Now, he's got to be pulling down 100K in addition or they think they have grounds for divorce.
That bout summs it up don't it ;-)
If it works out, wonderful. If it doesn't than my marriage would be no different from about 50% of the marriages where both parties were American
You're probably right. You would probably be taking the same chance on the success of the marriage if she were American. My best of luck to you both. Have a safe trip.
Hear about the new Tempura Shelter for slighly battered women?
No I havn't. Of course, I've never been battered. No man would dare. He'd have too many of my heavily armed male relatives using him for target practice.
My personal experience is very limited, and therefore I'll defer to your judgment even though my personal experience differs. Oh, and I completely agree that Russian women speak their mind and are in no way subservient.
My friend has a shirt that says, "Over 50,000 Battered Women, And All This Time I Have Been Eating Them Plain"
Is that the crack you were afraid to make?
And interesting to note, the Mail Order Bride Law was just given an injunction by a federal judge who says flat out that this violates the First and Fifth Amendments.
