Don't ask me who is going to win the race. My only prediction is that a certain newspaper's polls will continue to underpredict voter support for Republican candidates.

I was wondering the same about exit polling data. I think I am hoping for:

1. Ohio prop 4 to fail along with the CA restricting panel plan. I say leave both in the political process and let the GOP rebuild itself the old fashion way by winning elections. If CA is too far gone, so be it for them. I don't see how one can be against the Ohio one and for the CA one?

2. Tx to vote for marriage.

3. Maine to again for against special rights for homosexuals.

4. VA govenor to go GOP.

5. NYC GOP [in name only] mayor to be reelectedl.

That would make for a good election day. Toss in NJ listening to the woman who knows Corrize best and I would be very happy.

What I meant was I don't think that service that runs polls for the media is taking exit polls. I imagine the campaigns have exit polls.

I got a flyer in the mail from the Potts campaign explaining my Potts was really the "progressive choice". It had one of those issue by issue comparisons of Potts vs Tim Kaine. It made Kaine look very conservative.

I'm not sure what Potts was trying to accomplish by the flyer. But for a moment it made me think Kaine was on the right side of quite a few issues. (Only for a moment though, the thought quickly passed ). Anyways, it was possibly the worst political advertising I have ever seen.

I'm afraid Kaine will probably win this one.

Prayer is probably the biggest thing we can count on right now.

We are all hoping for the best, cub. The polls close at 7 p.m. If you get any early news, please ping me.

Virginia is a very important race. Recent Virginia races seem to have had a Republican edge that does not show up in the polls. The last two Republican governors in Virginia harmed all Republicans with their profligate spending.

New Jersey is important enough ... but unlikely to go Republican.

Can you tell me how to PING someone? I don't do much on here except read, respond and respond to private mail. Is that the same thing? Sorry...I just can't understand some of this. :) I will be happy to let you know anything we hear if you tell me how to do that.

Can you tell me how to PING someone?

1. Put somebody's screen name in the To: box (as I did caryatid's).

2. Type "Ping" in the Your Reply box (optional)

3. Click Post.

It's a way to bringing somebody's attention to a thread. When the recipient sees a post addressed to them on the latest posts page, they can click on the link and go directly to that thread.
