It's this fundamental flaw in the liberal argument that makes me chuckle every time.
How did Bush lie before he was in a position to lie?
How did the Governor of Texas get Senate Democrats and a Democrat President to state lies about Iraq?
It's ridiculous.

I've been on FR since March 2000. I still don't know what "bttt" means. Forgive my ignorance, but could you help me out here? What is it?
ping for later
Bump To The Top !! so more people can view the article.
Or why would he lie or manipulate to go into Iraq to prove he was lying??????
Such is liberal logic.
Oh thanks. At last I know! Does doing BTTT actually move the article to the top of the list?
BTTT
The answer is yes it bumps to the top.
Now, a question that has been bugging me is WHY has the White House not been more forceful in combatting the lies of the Democrats, Joe Wilson, and ad nauseum. I mean the President has all kinds of people he can use on the media.
So what is he waiting for?
Unless, of course, you count Scott McClellan, who's an even more accomodating punching bag than GWB himself.
What the hell is wrong with this administration?
Or the entire party, for that matter?
Bush shouldn't HAVE to defend himself...there are plenty of Republicans that could come to his defense; but, obviously, they have better things to do; like building a "bridge to nowhere."
I haven't seen this kind of political impotence since Gerald Ford.
Yup. Makes perfect sense. Once Bush said what everyone else had been saying it wasn't true any more. Who can deny such obvious logic?
Adding to what someone else replied to you, it also can mean "bump to the top" of your PING list. Whenever you post a reply, it is added to your Ping list (private replies are not). Usually when I quickly glance through an article that I would like to save for later viewing, I will reply "bttt", "bump for later", or just plain "bump".
And don't think of it as ignorance. It's a learning curve. Trust me, I didn't get it right away either. Also, in your Search browser, enter "posting help" or "HTML"...it'll explain how to do italics, bold, underline, different font colors, et. al.
I am absolutely astonished at how flacid Bush has been in not responding to these lies. Look at how good the Clintonistas and the Democrats were at rebutting their opponents at every turn, though certainly mostly with lies, smears and slander. Bush has the truth on his side and refuses to leverage it to be his demagogue opponents to shame. I just don't get what's going on. Who is responsible for muzzling Bush?? Is this Rove tuning Bush's ear too much to how rebutting his enemies will play in the media and what they'll do to throw it back in Bush's face? If so, maybe it is time for Rove to leave if he's making Bush this timid.
I agree. I find it rediculous that people that would HAIL Bill Clinton for SAYING saddam had to go and for making that notion POLICY of the USA are the very same ones that so venomously OPPOSE Bush actually DOING IT.
The left has spent the last 5 years (or so) making themselves look like COMPLETE fools. I am confident that history will frown upon their actions for generations to come.
Thanks for that! I've wondered about how to use different fonts, italics, etc. Now I know where to look. Many thanks.

Thanks a ton! I wish I had known about that years ago! All the times I wanted to use italics to emphasize a point or change font color or size, underline, highlight, etc. and I had no clue you even could do those things. Well I guess I had seen people who did, but I had no idea how they were doing it. I saved the link in my favorites.
