I've yet to get so much as a thank you card from that scumbag for paying her damned hospital bill and not being able to afford any further treatment myself.

The new crop of hispanic illegals have a sense of entitlement like I've never seen before. I grew up in a town of (legal)European immigrants. They never expected or collected anything from the government. They worked hard and truly contributed to the community, and they ALL spoke English after being here two or three months.

"The local health care officials' comments came after a recent study showed that fewer than 10 percent of Mexicans living in the U.S. legally or illegally for less than a decade visited an emergency room in the past year."

Doesn't say anything about the Health Departments. Ours, here in Dalton, Georgia, is always full of Hispanics.

"The study, which was released last month, was conducted by the University of California and the National Population Council of the Government of Mexico."

Well, if Mexico was involved we can count on it being honest and accurate.

"The findings of the study reverse the long-held thought that illegals are draining the U.S. health care system and are bringing with them infectious diseases."

Poppycock. I've got a bridge I'd like to sell anyone who believes that.

I used to go downtown LA every week for supplies for the business I had and nowhere could you find anyone that spoke English and they treated us like we were invading their territory. I haven't been there since Villapants or whatever his name is became Mayor but I'm sure its worse than ever now.
We moved up into the High Desert because the town we were in was becoming over-run with the illegals and there was nothing the Police dept could about them unless they broke the law.
About three years ago we had a new prison built here in the desert. It's a 4,000 bed establishment and there's not a bed to be had. It's crammed full with illegals. They have the best of healthcare and just about every other luxury you can imagine including college courses, gyms,a movie theatre etc., and we the tax payers have to fund all that. In the meantime one of our local hospitals had to close down because of the debts they'd had to eat because of ILLEGALS and now we have to go 50 miles to our nearest emergency room. In extreme emergencies we have to pay to be airvaced to the hospital up front and hope and pray our medical insurance will reimburse us.

I don't think the rest of the country realizes the extent of this problem, and some will have trouble believing what you've described, but here in Mexifornia, illegal aliens are above the law, and even in prison they live well.

If our elected politicians actually represented the majority of Americans, several million of these parasites would be deported immediately, and a HUGE fence would be built starting tomorrow.

We're told that "they only come to work", but that's the lie of the century. We're importing poverty, ignorance, disease and dependence, all with the stamp of approval of a supposed Republican President. Disgusting.

In NC the emergency rooms overflow with illegals. About 95% are children who weren't included in this article. These kids are able to run around, play & color until they're called. Where's the emergency?

"Unless you're able to do something about the immigration issue, if you cut services to all undocumented ... that's very stupid," said Francisco Semiao.

How I love threats from the mouth pieces of the illegals.

They want to integrate. They want to be capitalists, that's why they came here from the third world.

They want to integrate.

Really? Then why aren't they demanding english classes for their children? Why do they demand forms in spanish so they can apply for assistance? Why don't they socialize with others instead of congregating with their own kind?

All the ones I know can't wait to go back to their dirtwater country with the money they made here so they can retire. They have no loyalty to the United States. None. They fly flags from Guatemala, Columbia or mexico from their car mirrors not the U.S. flag.

They want to be capitalists, that's why they came here from the third world.

No. They don't want to be capitalists. They want money pure and simple. And they are willing to break law after law to do so. Do you hold bank robbers in the same regard?

You have swallowed the OBL pablum. Perhaps you see nothing wrong with people breaking laws in the name of capitalism but I do.

The problem is that we don't see the most obvious thing, which is: what the basis of capitalism is. The issues you mentioned are secondary. Since the basis of capitalism is not taught in the public schools, it doesn't matter at all what other infant formula they spoon out.

What's this "we" garbage. What does this have to do with illegals? I know what capitalism is. The illegals just know they get to break the law without penalty.

Is that your basis for capitalism? See how many laws you can break before you get caught?

The issues you mentioned are secondary.

No. They are primary to maintaining the sovereignty of the U.S. Unless of course, that doesn't matter to you.

I know what capitalism is

Even Marx didn't know, and he talked about it all the time. Do you know? Go ahead, the floor is yours.

Okay you have nothing more constructive to say. Suffice it to say you are entrenched in the idea of rewarding illegals. I am not.

I have explained this before and don't need to go over it again. Hernando de Soto has written a little book about this, and he is the only major figure who has got it right. If there is time for some reading, his book might prove useful.

Any politician who hires illegals should be publicly tarred and feathered (I'm being nice). They should be hiring some out of work Americans instead, but of course I forget that they're all above the laws that we peons are supposed to obey...

Just wait until a few of them start getting dysentary from food prepared with unwashed hands, or their infant children catching TB from their illegal nannies and dying from it. These elite scum may think of themselves as being above the law, but Mother Nature couldn't care less.
