Just because you join the military does not mean you stand for war , It means you wish to protect your loved ones from it. You should be ashamed you have to have that explained to you.

Then why did he join the military? Many of us join because we want to help the nation be strong enough to deter war. I was in SAC, and our motto was "Peace is our Profession."

Look, not everyone in the military supports the war. Thats just the truth, but we have a sense of duty and when called we go, irreguardless of what we think or believe. The military is supposed to be apolitical.
