Thanks for the post. Hopefully GWB shall find more occasions to bring out clear and concise goals, and the reasons we have to combat terrorism in all it's convoluted, evil forms. The American public's memory is quite short, and the L/MSM trying it's best and often succeeding, does it's best to outdo Pravda. It is as important to keep in check the L/MSM agenda as it is to defeat the Islamofacist terrorist networks.

Yeah, we shouldn't support him. This terrorism thing isn't any big deal.

I'd rather just b**ch & moan.

Great job. Thanks.

The stakes in the global war on terror are too high and the national interest is too important for politicians to throw out false charges.

Democrats are the booby traps along the route to Iraqi freedom.

Great speech

Especially the poignant part where Bush praised Arlen Sphincter.

Very similar to when Bush said Manslaughter Kennedy was a "fine Senator".

As long as Bush continues to praise enemies of America, like Arlen Sphincter and Manslaughter Kennedy, Bush's "credibility" (what a stretch!) with true conservatives will contiue to sink.

It has already sunk out of sight. There are only a few loyal worshipers who still pretend they can see it.

Yeah, it sure would have been better if Kerry had been elected and we were continuing to ignore terrorists.

I think Tread would like it just fine if Kerry were President, Cinnamon Girl.

Then he could be even madder all the time.

Anyone who could write a post like this in response to this strong speech, and in light of what our soldiers are doing to keep us free, is to be pitied.

Tread. I really feel sorry for you.......but I'd appreciate it if you could keep your misery to yourself once in a while. I hate to see DU'ers made happy by freepers.....

Happy Veteran's Day, all! I thank God for this President, this great country, and the men and women in uniform who serve it.

"I also recognize that some of our fellow citizens and elected officials didn't support the liberation of Iraq. And that is their right, and I respect it."

This is the part of the speech that breaks my heart.
That FREE Americans and some elected officials, no less, would rather the Iraqi people still be under the control of the dictator Saddam!

How pathetic and detestable is that?

Thank goodness for the Iraqi people that President Bush is the leader of this Country and not one of those Freedom hating elected officials.

Thank you for this awesome post, cinnamon Girl

I'm becoming more and more convinced that they hate everything that is good and right, jan.

They claim to be supporters of human rights, but are fighting against our troops and their Commander in Chief in defense of tyranny and brutality.

I don't think there's a decent (national) Democrat left. They're all trash, IMO.
