"If you are going to allow your country to be used to refuel a US plane which is going on a bombing raid, what do you expect our reaction to be? This is not neutrality," he said.

And where exactly does that fuel come from? I bet a good bit of it comes from ONE OF YOUR COUNTRIES buddy. So remove the thorn from your own eye. Better yet, just blow yourself up in a field somewhere.

Well, the "main body of muslims worldwide" had better start doing something about it before none of them are welcome anywhere except the hellhole countries they came from.

I'm sure the Irish government is a pack of leftest weenies that if attached my Muslims would turn tale and run.

Maybe the IRA should think twice about disarming.

He is being honest, but what is frightening is that he says it, knowing nothing will probably happen to him.

Does anyone know how the people of Ireland feel about Americans in general and the Iraq war? I was on an Irish political website and from what I had read, the folks didn't look to kindly on Americans. My fear is that Ireland will blame the United States if they are indeed attacked.

The Irish are so laid back, I doubt they will do anything about this guy.

WASHINGTON TIMES.com (UPI): "ISLAMIST LAWYER: IRELAND COULD BE TARGETED" (November 11, 2005) (ARTICLE SNIPPET: "An Islamic fundamentalist lawyer has said Ireland is a "legitimate" target for a terrorist attack. Anjem Choudary, speaking at a debate Thursday at Dublin's Trinity College, claimed Ireland was open to attack because of the government's decision to allow U.S. troops to refuel at Shannon Airport, the Irish Independent reported Friday. "If you are going to allow your country to be used to refuel a U.S. plane which is going on a bombing raid, what do you expect our reaction to be? This is not neutrality," he said. "A U.S. pilot is no different from the Irish person who allows the plane to land. They are collaborators," said Choudary, who is under police surveillance in Britain.") (November 11, 2005)

Politicians called for him to be banned from public platforms in Ireland.

Let us do so with Sinn Fein/IRA first!

Lawyer Anjem Choudary, who is under police surveillance in Britain, made the comments shortly after arriving in Dublin for a debate in Trinity College.

Anjem Choudary was a spokesman for the group Al-Muhajiroun in 2004.
