You have made me realize how much I don't listen to the morning show..I just turned it on for noise while I read here..
There is a history of France not liking "furriners"(like us)..They have been content to have the African muslims ghettoed in their own spots..not allowing them to feel a part of ..The flip side of the coin is that the Muslims want "no go" for French police..They want to impose Muslim rules in their area..and hate the French..They don't like Western rules.
Poverty,no..idleness, yes.. according to this..

The elephant isn't really there, the media assure us. "The violence in France has not taken on religious overtones," said the New York Times. "Islamic ideology and leaders play no role in the disturbances," said the Washington Post.
But the "disaffected youth" shout "Allahu Akbar" as they toss Molotov cocktails into churches and synagogues. They talk of turning Paris into "Baghdad on the Seine."
French arrogance and racism, and the sclerosis of the French welfare state help explain why the elephant hasn't assimilated. But the larger reason is that the elephant has chosen not to.

Yes. I just switched to C-Span. FNF has become unwatchable, except for Michelle Malkin, who was co-hosting yesterday. Ms. Hopkins interviewed two people yesterday on how poor President Bush could get out of the hole he is in and she had one guy who really hates the President and another guy who just kind of doesn't like him. It was pretty awful.
I have never understood why such a mediocre news outlet as Fox has the liberals worried. (Only the stupid or bored would watch Greta and Hannity/Colmes, and O'Reilly serves without any apparent intellectual compass.) It must be because the MSM programs are so biased viewers will turn to anything.
Nice tag line, though we prefer the more evocative "yoot" ;-)
And Juliet's gone from Fox & Friends Weekend now, off to greener pastures on "Dayside."
Better? ;-)
Brit Hume
Tony Snow
Hannity is OK
Greta is a freakshow
F&F during the week is OK, especially when compared to the dreck on the other channels; the weekend used to be great b/c of Juliet, mainly because I can just tell she is a wild chick (some reason to watch the news, huh?)
Excellent! There's something about "yoot" that brings a smile to the face, wouldn't you say?
My thoughts exactly!
That's the deal, there is no news on TV worth watching. By the way did you hear the rioters set fire to a car and drove it into an old folks home. Muslim euthanassia!
Ah, but YESTERDAY had Michelle Malkin acting as host. She was terrific! I wish they'd haveher more often.
Thanks for the warning, however.I'll be certain I'll NOT tune in this AM. The weater channel sounds likea good alternative! I'm so happy that Juliet and Mike are gone, but I hope they settle on someone sensible to fill the spot.
Yes It does! It make me think of my "yoot" growing up in Brooklyn! :-)
So what Bagel Shop do you frequent to run into such celebs?
Brian Kilmeade is an idiot -- closely followed by E.D. Steve seemsto be the only one with any sense, but that is debatable at times. Yet, there is nothing elseon in the AM that is even bearable.
I'm not a masochist.
I've sometimes described myself as a masochist for my habit of watching and reporting on liberal media bias at the Today Show. But I do think it's worthwhile keeping tabs on what the MSM are up to. When the weekend rolls around I feel a need to feed my liberal media bias jones, and so tune into Fox & Friends.
Julian Phillips, and Ellen Ratner who appears on the "Long and the Short of It" segment on the weekend show, are a treasure trove of outrageous liberal fare.
During the week I find Special Report with Brit Hume the best news show...
"Phillips talked about how the underclasses have historically been mistreated in France "going back to the time of the French revolution!"
Geesh, he sees Les Mis one time and thinks he is an expert.
Question: do we now need an "Alex Witt rule?"
