You may think that my criticism of Brian Kilmeade is trivial, but I find Kilmeade trivial, himself. I watch that show EVERY morning (for as long as I can stand it, that is) and Brian makes comments like that EVERY morning. You must not watch the show often if you can say that you've never heard it.

Just this morning E.D. Hill was comenting on her trip to Memphis over the weekend and she said that "Southerners don't 'get' Kilmeade, especially when he talks about such things as manbags and 'milking a horse'." Brian responded, "Did I say that?" And everyone on the set jumped on him with a resounding "YES".

I had forgotten that exchange, but Brian did say that a few months back. Every show has him making some equally stupid comment. You are right about one thing: such discourse is BORING.

Yes, he may be patriotic. Yes, he may be conservative. But I prefer patriotic & conservative SMART people.

I did not hear Napolitano on Judge Greer. But if he said, what you say he said -- I agree with you.

I heard him and he lost my respect as well. He thought it was just fine to kill Terri Schiavo. I happen to think Brian Kilmead is a great guy and I watch F&F because of him and Doocey.

Kiran Chetry and Page Hopkins are sitting in this morning with Phillips, and the trio tried to outdo each other in their PC comments on the French riots.

Yeah, but they're nice to look at. 'Pod.

I'll have to find his exact words. I remember how angry I was at what he was saying...and taken aback, as well.

So far you’ve provided evidence that Brian has commented on his appearance and engaged in superficial humor on his show. Exactly what every other news show personality does every day on every other channel.

You have called Brian an idiot and claim you don’t like him because he’s not a “smart” conservative, while failing to describe anything about him even remotely resembling an actual measure of his intelligence.

I appreciate your response to my posts and I mean no disrespect, but you appear to have another, more obscure, reason for disliking Kilmeade.

I find Brian BORING and SELF ABSORBED and not too bright. This AM he and Tiki Barber blathered on about their clothes for the better part of an hour. And it was Brian who brought it up! It's all too much at 5 AM.

I don't dislike him. I'm sure that he is a fine fellow and that his wife and children love him. I just think that he is the weakest member of the team.

Lauren challenged him for that spot this AM, however, when she referred to a 175 year old tortoise as the "oldest mammal on earth." Do these people write their own lines? I headed for the shower at that point!

Then they went outside with some country music stars and started throwing the football around. Brian was totally outclassed by everybody. Steve Doocy was outstanding, for instance. And the CM stars held their own against Tiki Barber. But Brian was blocked at every move.

IMHO, the "sports guy" shouldn't get himself into situations where he is outclassed in sports by the "weather guy". It's embarrassing.

Regarding the stupidity on all the other stations: that is why I don't watch them.

They have hijacked Dayside with the two Dummy shills. Huddy and what's his name. I refuse to watch the Weekend edition. My blood boils. I was disappointed in Michele Malkin. She acted like she was afraid of the two dummies.

In the real world, nobody really cares about people calling tortoises mammals. It just doesn’t ever happen. And who could possibly dislike Lauren?

The meaning of the statements “I don't dislike him” and “I’m sure that he is a fine fellow” are directly contradicted by the tone underlying the following language: “BORING,” “SELF ABSORBED,” “not too bright,” “totally outclassed by everybody,” “blocked at every move,” “outclassed in sports by the weather guy,” “embarrassing.”

In the use of language our intentions are often more clearly illustrated by our tone than by overt statements.
Sometimes it’s hard to tell. But when tone and overt statements are in direct opposition, we can be certain that the speaker is not being straightforward about his intentions.

Liberals do this a lot. I would not want to be so cruel as to accuse a person of being a liberal unless I were absolutely sure. Instead, I’ll just say take this as a lesson on how to cleanse oneself of latent liberal tendencies.

Now you've gone around the bend! A lot of people are boring, but that doesn't mean I dislike them! I just don't like them in my life on a non-stop basis.

People in the real world don't care whether a tortoise is misidentified as a mammal? People in the real world don't care about accuracy? I don't dislike Lauren either. She's a beautiful, talented woman who normally displays a high degree of intelligence. That is why I asked if someone else (someone REALLY stupid) was writing her lines for her.

Why are you so "invested" in Brian Kilmeade that you feel that you must defend him against justly deserved criticism? You must have not watched the football segment yesterday, or you would know what I meant. It was embarrassing, and it wasn't the first time I've seen Brian "outclassed" in an athletic challenge by another cast member -- even the women.

You accuse me of being LIBERAL because somehow my "tone" betrays me? That is just laughable and proves that you don't know what you are talking about.

I identified your tactic as one often used by liberals while refraining from accusing you of being a liberal. This has not escaped you.

The tactic is very frequently used by liberals and too often by conservatives. It’s a form of equivocation. Statement B represents the person’s foremost opinion while statement A states the opposite. That way, if statement B turns out to be wrong, the person has statement A to fall back on thus escaping accountability. It’s from fear of taking a stand. The ambivalence of liberalism.

For the sake of your understanding, I’ll let you know that I have no significant bias for any particular Fox News personality. I refute your criticisms of Fox News conservatives because the criticisms are not logical according to my standards.

For example, it appears that Lauren misspoke. This happens all the time, so it does not make sense that you would target her for something that happens so frequently. If you really cared about this kind of public speaking error, you would be posting complaints all day long on every website out there.
