The point Chiraq overlooks is the immigrants do not want to become French, do not want to become Frenchmen and owe no loyalty to France. How the French government will instill national values in an entire population that rejects them is the $64,000 question of the century. Its not like it cared about them before. Oh that and it took three weeks of rioting to get the elites to pay attention to France's real problems. They're not problems a bunch of government programs will fix.

Chirac speaking to the nation for the first time since the unrest erupted Oct. 27 Gee .. it only took him 18 days to finally address his Country?
If I hear one more liberal make a comment about our President being slow to respond ... I'm gonna smack them upside their stupid heads

France should stop growing truffles and start growing peanuts.

He looked like an intellectual dilettante. No wonder Chiraq and his fop Prime Minister Villain consider themselves consider themselves to be Gallic geniuses. They can't even restore order to the streets of their own country.

Chiraq should appoint Jimmy Carter his Prime Minister while he's at it. A little more malaise is just the RX France needs to find its way out of this crisis.

I watched part of this....I swear his facial expressions and linguistic emphasis made it seem like a skit on SNL.

Jacques Chirac, tough with Jews and Israel. An abject ass kisser of the Muhammadans. All for Arab oil. America must develop coal-oil conversion and more use of clean coal technology in our electric power plants. This is how we break free of OPEC scum. Let the craven EUros do their dance to the Muhammadan tune.

These one world globalists like Jock Strap any many of our own leaders see these events as the inevitable growing pains of our future global village. These things are to be expected and managed according to plan. They didn't expect to force the 1st and 3rd worlds together without a small amount of resistance from the sheep. Nothing to see here move along.

The french aren't very bright, are they? - I don't think it is that they are not bright, they just absolutely DO NOT consider the ramifications of their actions. NEVER do they think long term, it is all what is easiest right now.
