This is an excerpt from a speech VP Cheney is giving tonight to a Malcolm Wallop group. He's going after the war critics but good.

The President and I cannot prevent certain politicians from losing their memory, or their backbone but we're not going to sit by and let them rewrite history. Well said!!

Kewl. Pulling no punches. Methinks that war has been declared. Indeed, the projecting Rats are already now saying "stop playing politices" with the war. Well, they started it and W, Cheney and the good guys are going to finish it...

I really like this piece:
"The saddest part is that our people in uniform have been subjected to these cynical and pernicious falsehoods day in and day out. American soldiers and Marines are out there every day in dangerous conditions and desert temperatures conducting raids, training Iraqi forces, countering attacks, seizing weapons, and capturing killers and back home a few opportunists are suggesting they were sent into battle for a lie."
It says exactly what the situation is--the DemRATS are traitors.

Not only is he brilliant (IMHO) it is a real joy just listening to him, his cadence, tone, everything, says - listen to me.

Another answered prayer. I just wish they'd have come out swinging sooner, but bless his heart, Cheney is really telling it like it is in this speech. If only it would be carried on the networks.

This is a great speech!
I guess it's at a private venue (?)--it would be nice to figure out a way to send a copy to the troops.

The President and I cannot prevent certain politicians from losing their memory, or their backbone. . .Is this a shot across the bow of the gutless wonder Republicans in Congress that have not stood up against the war being raged by the Democrats?

None of the soldiers returning from this fight should ever forget the traitors. We should create a wanted poster listing them as wanted for treason. Keep this poster as a reminder of who has America's best interest at heart.
God bless our soldiers. You keep up the good fight there and we will keep up the good fight here. Together, we will defeat the enemy, both foreign and domestic.

Go Vice President Cheney!
Give um hell!
It is beyond dispicable.....and to learn that yesterday billy klinton had the GALL, the CREEPINESS, the drive to DAMAGE OUR NATION AND OUR TROOPS SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH that he actually told a group of Arab students in Dubai that the war we are fighting in Iraq is a MISTAKE!
A MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so furious and outraged I have called lugar, frist, hastert, pence and burton ( lugar is my senator and burton is my rep) and BEGGED them to confront this horrific, traitorous, damaging rhetoric by bill klinton.
It is unspeakably horrific for an ex prez to betray his nation like this in a time of war. What he does to our troops in the line of fire right now is JUST AWFUL!
What kind of a heinous creep would do this to his nation....and before a group of no doubt conflicted ARAB KIDS no less.
And just cannot believe the democrats.
Are they even human?
Who would DO THIS to his nation after being elected its President not once, but TWICE?
klinton is surely the most failed human being in our nation....to be willing to trash our precious troops like this, and our nation's drive to defeat horrific terrorism just to appease and build his liberal base for his wife in name only political future sucks on its face..
he is a traitor.
And I SPIT on his filthy name.

How many times did this Administration have to be hit in the head before they finally decided to fight back? The "Bush lied/misled" charge was trumpeted throughout the 2004 election, with little response. It may be too late now to significantly reverse public perception.
The White House communications team should be summarily fired. They needed to have a point man out there every day not only to respond to this continuing allegation that Bush lied but also to reinforce the positive news that is coming out of Iraq. I'm sure Scott McClennan is a nice guy, but have you ever seen someone more unqualified to be the President's chief spokesman. He looks terrified up there. Can't we bring back Ari Fleischer to finish out the term?
