The President and I cannot prevent certain politicians from losing their memory, or their backbone but were not going to sit by and let them rewrite history. Love that line!

All you have to do is go to whitehouse.gov. The Vice President's speech has been posted there for over an hour. Click on the Vice President section.

What were hearing now is some politicians contradicting their own statements and making a play for political advantage in the middle of a war. The saddest part is that our people in uniform have been subjected to these cynical and pernicious falsehoods day in and day out. American soldiers and Marines are out there every day in dangerous conditions and desert temperatures conducting raids, training Iraqi forces, countering attacks, seizing weapons, and capturing killers and back home a few opportunists are suggesting they were sent into battle for a lie.In other words: I'm mad as Zell and not going to take it any more!

OMG ..
Harry Reid just said on the Senate Floor that the Vice President just came out of his Bunker with his Bunker Mentality to give a speech that is nothing by a campaign speech
Says our troops and the American people deserve better
the WH should come clean and tell the truth
Says Mr. Cheney should hold a press conference and start telling the truth

Where is Cheney delivering that speech?
Is it another 'preaching to the choir'?
When are they going to demand network air time and deliver a national speech? They keep 'fighting' in the shadows while the Dems are on center stage.

Could you please take out the "Drudge link is broken" from the title, it's working fine now.
Thanks.

The only word in the whole thing that I would change is "falsehoods".
Good grief! Call lies exactly what the are - - "lies".
The Democrats are liars. See? That's not so hard.
Other than that, this is one of the best statements I have ever seen from this - - or any - - administration.
Bravo to Dick Cheney!
