Let us hope that when the White House press corps demands President Bush disavow VP Cheney's " hateful and hurtful remarks "- McClellan doesn't fold and hem and haw his way to that end.
This should be beginning of Operation Verbal Bayonet to defeat the lies of the unpatriotic, anti American, military loathing , terrorist enabling Democrats.

Did Bill Clinton "intentionally mislead the American people" by "dressing up the intel" just to launch Operation Desert Fox?

Thank you, Mr. Cheney!

Furthermore, if ever President Bush feels the compassionate need to give Bill Clinton "something to do", remind him what side Clinton is on..please!

I am thrilled beyond belief to see both President Bush and Vice President Cheney fight back. I don't think it's too late, it's just perfect. Our men and women in uniform do NOT deserve to hear politicians running around trying to rewrite history.

Just when I was becoming a bit down about everything, this has really energized me.

US Vice President Dick Cheney attacks critics of the Iraq war during a speech to the Frontiers of Freedom Institute 2005 Ronald Reagan Gala in Washington, D.C., November 16, 2005. In the sharpest White House attack yet on critics of the Iraq war, Cheney said that accusations that the Bush administration manipulated intelligence to justify the war were a 'dishonest and reprehensible' political ploy. I really do like Cheney and I respect his integrity.

It is funny to me that President Bush said essentially the same words last week and was lambasted from people on our side because he didn't name names. Cheney didn't name any names either, but his speech was just as forceful as the President's.

In another place and another time, Cheney would make a wonderful President. Unfortunately, I just don't think the public would give him the support he deserves.

Only thing missing is to say from day one the President said "If you are not with us then you are with the terrorists" Most of these Dumcrat senators have switch sides and are now with the terrorists.

Administration purposely misled the American people on pre-war intelligence is one of the most dishonest and reprehensible charges ever aired in this city...

I think people are getting pretty tired of the democrat lie. Enough already. They're not fooling anyone. People who were around during the Clinton administration are calling the democrats swear words.

GRrrrrreat!

Cheney is the BEST SPOKESPERSON for this Administration.

Remember the RPGs he used to throw at Kerry/Edwards last year?

I love him! God bless his heart.

Check out the full transcript of his remarks at Full transcript. His opening remarks include the following:

"It's a pleasure to see all of you. I'm sorry that we couldn't be joined by Senators Harry Reid, John Kerry, or Jay Rockefeller. They were unable to attend due to a prior lack of commitment."

Oh my.

The President and I cannot prevent certain politicians from losing their memory, or their backbone – but we’re not going to sit by and let them rewrite history.

I honestly believe these lines will be quoted over and over by real Americans. They say it all.

The saddest part is that our people in uniform have been subjected to these cynical and pernicious falsehoods day in and day out. American soldiers and Marines are out there every day in dangerous conditions and desert temperatures – conducting raids, training Iraqi forces, countering attacks, seizing weapons, and capturing killers – and back home a few opportunists are suggesting they were sent into battle for a lie.

This is the saddest part, and when we realize that these cowards are hurting our troops, we can agree that this reprehensible politicians are exactly what the VP calls them: opportunists.
