This was not his best work and other than the one line about Moby, not very funny. Does Robert Smigel actually think Al Franken is smart?

It looked like Franken was parodied. Not as good as Moby, as you say, but it was funny when he eats the cookies the little girl left for Santa.

It was kind of funny, but the anti-Christian hatred was so close to the truth, it was kind of depressing.

Having been born in Tennessee and listening to this, I kind of felt like randomly attacking any state North of the Mason-Dixon line. Good thing I only had one cup of Colombian Huila this morning.

What we need is a format other than .mov which has never worked well on any windows box I have ever been acquainted with. I can convert them, but have become tired of bothering.

Fellow Christians need to start getting bravado about the reality of Jesus Christ and his birthday!! It doesn't matter WHEN it was, what matters is it should not be against the law to PUBLICALLY display decorations for it or the holiday!

In this country there IS freedom of religion (IN PUBLIC) and freedom of speech, (IN PUBLIC) I say use that freedom to the fullest, especially in this age.

Knock yourselves out, just don't be suprised when someone puts up a Menorah, or a display celebrating Ramadan.

So long as there's equal access for everyone, it's fine. You'd be suprised by how many people on your side of the argument don't agree with you about everyone else's rights.

In local communities where they decorate for "Winter Holidays" you get a mix of decorations on the lamp poles that include Menorahs, 6 pointed stars and Draidels for Jewish people and Christmas trees and snowmen for Christians....

WHATS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE.

Those ae some pretty rare birds. It is a weak Christian that does'nt believe Jesus wins in the "free marketplace of ideas", hands down, every time.

Light a Menorah, break out the prayer rug, and I will compliment you on your piety. And then ask you if you want to stop trying to do the impossible...

Somebody forgot or misplaced the Nativity scene? at the very least..... why is it that the ACLU will turn a blind eye to non-christian religious displays????

"In local communities where they decorate for 'Winter Holidays' you get a mix of decorations on the lamp poles that include Menorahs, 6 pointed stars and Draidels for Jewish people and Christmas trees and snowmen for Christians...."

The effect of the coersive state power is to apply discrimination, in the opposite mirror image it's power holders believe to exist in our society. If it's understood by them that Christians have traditionally discrimiated against Muslims and Jews, then "allow" the latter groups to celebrate their holidays with symbolic things like menorah and eid decorations (not that Muslims and Jews celebrate their holy days like Christians celebrate Christmas, either). But on the same token, discriminate against Christians to "make up" for what they supposedly did, and in the end, everything will even out and there will be enlightened peace.

In reality, the progressive's enterprise to eliminate traditional Christmas celebration is also a backhanded slap against the minority worshippers they are supposedly making more equal. Because if the intent is to raise Eid or Hannukah, and if they are relatively equal to Christianity, then persecuting Christianity is persecuting Judaism and Islam, too, relatively speaking. If the state doesn't take the celebration of Christmas as a good social think in and of itself, deep down, the people who run the state do not think much of minority religions, either.

Because they're coming from a Righteous, religious point of veiw, not from a constitutional one.

Ask some of them who Jesus died for his enemies or his friends?
