The trick is getting Thompson to run, and I fear he's going to do a John Hoeven.

Surprising numbers on Governor. I would have put Walker ahead of Green.

I think that, generally, when I see poll results, the winner is listed first.

Usually, but that's how it was listed on the link. In any event, it's within the margin or error.

Oh please, please run Tommy. You are our only hope!!! We could use a whole lot less billionaire socialists in the Senate (and absolutely no socialists who have hundreds of millions of dollars - Kennedy, Corzine, Rockefeller, Feinstein, etc)

Tommy is a bit of a slut but sure a heck of a lot better than our current senator (either one)

I never thought he was a Senator type.

I never thought he was the gubenatorial type in the first place, let alone senatorial. First off, he's a dolt. Second, he is absolutely drunk with the thought of spending money that's not his.

The man is a RINO.

That being said, I'd vote for him over Kohl or Feingold in a heartbeat.

Oh, Boy! As much as I LOVE Tommy, Kohl would just cream him when it came to money, I fear.

I don't see Tommy as Washington Material. I think he was too small-town for HSS, frankly. Has anyone heard why he was let go? I never really did get the skinny on that one...

But...how can we get Tommy to run against Doyle in 2006 for Governor of Wisconsion again? (Though Walker is looking good, and will most likely get my vote for Governor, barring Tommy running.) ;)

I heard Tommy Thompson had tried to get Bush to appoint Federal Judge Diane Sykes to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Well, she would've been a good choice, but she probably would've been "Mier-ized" anyway. *Rolleyes* Who knows? Maybe she said she wouldn't take the fall and Harriet agreed to?

But that can't have been a bone of contention between Dubya and Tommy, because President Bush nominated/appointed her to replace Coffey on the WI Supreme Court, didn't he? And she was confirmed with no problem, if I'm remembering correctly.

Not that I'm a WI Supreme Court Groupie or anything, LOL!

He's not the "senator type."

He's the NAM type.

I'd love have him replace Herb Kohl, but I just don't see it happening.

Shades of Mark Raicot.

I like the guy, and im very surpised he's up in the polls (but which we know mean nothing). I'd love for him to assist in the Re-taking of Wisconsin (of course which is the birthplace of the Republican Party), but I too dont see it happening, especially in 2006.

at least we'll be able to keep track of tommy since he has chip implanted.

Maybe not such a bad idea to put chips in all of the people in congress...

This is the way forward. As greatly as the RINOs hurt our party, the only sure way to advance is to knock off the weaklings in the other party.
