Goodbye, Tookie...Tookie, goodbye
Goodbye, Tookie...soon you will die
Tookie Williams is a lowlife slimeball, everyone knows
While free, he'd bring mayhem everywhere that he goes
Tookie wrote kids books...the left is in awe
It's clear that those fools have a brain deeply flawed
And so, let's sing it
Goodbye, Tookie...Tookie, goodbye
Goodbye, Tookie...soon you will die
You're gonna die...you're gonna die...you're gonna die...you're gonna die
(musical break)
Tookie will be led to a room where he's facing his death
Get out the stop watches...time him holding his breath
So goodbye, Tookie...it's about time
Yes, goodbye, Tookie...you did the crime
So goodbye, Tookie...it's about time
Yes, goodbye, Tookie...you did the crime
It is overdue...long overdue
Take Mumia with you...yes, take him, too
We'll watch you choking, choking, Tookie...long overdue
Kids, if you murder, this is you...this will be you
Goodbye, Tookie...Tookie, goodbye
Murdering scum...murdering scum...murdering scum...murdering scum
Goodbye, Tookie...soon you will die
You're gonna die...you're gonna die...you're gonna die...you're gonna die
Goodbye, Tookie...Tookie, goodbye
Murdering scum...murdering scum...murdering scum...murdering scum
Goodbye, Tookie...soon you will die
Ha ha...ha ha...ha ha...ha ha...ha
We'd like to introduce you to Mr. Gas Chamber
sorry man...I don't understand why you had to do Hang On Sloopy during OSU-Michigan week!!
:-)
He killed four people in cold blood. Dec. 13 is justice day.
ROFLMAO
Sorry, Mike. Explain the significance. I know about the Little Brown Jug. I know USC/UCLA. I know Florida/Florida State. Although I know about the Ohio State and Michigan rivalry, I'm clueless about the Sloopy relationship.
here ya go :-)

Yep. Hell is gonna have a new citizen. And that punk ass Snoop Dogg is defending this creep.
I know more trivia now. :)
yup , and sad to say, XM Radio has Snoop , no XM for this household
Darn, he's getting the needle, not the gas. I would have written the song differently.
Just got home from the OSU marching band rehersal. They leave for Michigan tomorrow afternoon. My son is a trombone player in the band (F row) and I was in 76-80. By the way, this is the 40th anniversary of the first time the OSUMB played Sloopy - arranged by John Tangenhorst. Sloopy is also the "Official rock song" of the State of Ohio.
This slimeball had a plan to escape and murder two officers.
yes it is :)
My brother had a couple friends in the OSU band until last year and I think there is one in it this year but I'd have to ask him....
yeah :)
Turn his life around? He did what he needed to do to get the leftist fools on his side. He life should have ended many years ago.
Even if he did turn his life around (which I doubt) that does not negate the crime, nor should lessen the punishment.
Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department
Homicide Bureau - Case History
DEFENDANT: STANLEY TOOKIE WILLIAMS, MB/25 (At time of offense)
LASD FILE: 1979-01607-1575-015
DATE: February 28, 1979, Between 0310-0430 hours
LOCATION: 7-11 Market, 10437 Whittier Blvd., Pico Rivera
MO: Stanley Tookie Williams and 3 companions began searching for a business to rob after finding themselves short of cash while driving to Pomona. They first entered an all-night market, but when one of the conspirators lost his nerve, the plan was abandoned. Williams then selected another target, the 7-11 on Whittier Blvd., where the night-clerk, Albert Lewis Owens, MW/26, was ordered into the cold box by Williams who was armed with a 12 gage shotgun. While Williams companions were helping themselves to the contents of the cash register (Approximately $60), Owens was heard begging for his life. Williams was shot twice in the back by Williams, who then fired a third shot into the video surveillance system. Owens body was found by customers who entered the store some time after the shooting.
DEFENDANT: STANLEY TOOKIE WILLIAMS, MB/25, (At time of offense)
LASD FILE: 1979-04349-0372-010
DATE: March 11, 1979, 0530 Hours
LOCATION: Brookhaven Motel, 10411 S. Vermont Ave., Los Angeles
MO: Stanley Tookie Williams and 1 companion entered the motel, a small family-run business, and forced their way into the living quarters of Tsai-Shen Yang, FO/63, her husband Yen-Yi Yang, MO/63, and their daughter Ye-Chen Lin, FO/43. Armed with a 12 gage shotgun, Williams shot Tsai once in the upper body, and once in the base of her spine, killing her instantly. Yen-Yi was shot twice in the upper body, and Ye-Chin was shot once in the head. Both father and daughter died within hours at local hospitals. Williams and his companion took what cash they could find (Estimated at $50-$100) before fleeing.
INVEST: Sheriffs Homicide Detectives Jack Fueglein and Barry Jones were assigned the case in Pico Rivera, and Sergeant Gene Hetzel and Detective James Solar were assigned the triple-murder at the motel. The fact that Williams had killed 4 innocent people in 12 days apparently shocked even associates of the killer as numerous tips were received from the community. The shotgun was recovered and was matched ballistically to both murders. The detectives utilized their inter-personal skills to obtain information and cooperation from witnesses, including some of Williams co-conspirators, who stated that Williams told them that he never permitted robbery victims to live to become witnesses against him. Williams, who is the co-founder of the Crips Street Gang, was found guilty of the four murders, and lessor included offenses, and was given the death penalty. He is now in his early 50's, and resides on Death Row in San Quentin State Prison.
UPDATE: In the 26 years that have passed since Williams was sentenced to death, he has attained some fame as the author of a series of childrens books in which he advises against gangster-life. He authored an autobiography that has been made into a motion picture, and he has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Tookie has become a poster-boy of sorts for activists who are opposed to the death penalty, and others who maintain that he has changed and is rehabilitated. On his webpage, Tookie offers apologies to the families of those who have followed the street-gang lifestyle, that he pioneered, and who have suffered the consequences. He does not apologize to the families of those who he slaughtered in February and March 1979, and he maintains that he had no involvement in their deaths. In early 2005, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, upheld his convictions and sentence. He has made further appeals to the United States Supreme Court.
(Part of an article from Arizona Central Newspaper)
65 year old retired homicide detective Gene Hetzel says heâll never forget the smell of garlic hovering on a cold morning over three people crumpled in a motel living room, their bodies blown apart by gunfire.
Robbers crashed through the office door of the Brookhaven Motel, court documents said.
Shot were Yen-I Yang, a 65-year-old motel owner, his wife, Tsai-Shai Chen Yang, 62, and daughter, Yu-Chin Yang Lin, 42, according to county records.
The Yangs were Taiwanese, according to police. They owned the Brookhaven Motel on Vermont Avenue.
Daughter Ye-Chen Lin had just joined them from Taiwan.
Sgt. David Longshore, a Los Angeles County Sheriffs detective, found a swarm of emergency workers in the familys tiny living space adjoined to the motel office. Longshore remembers noticing the parents age, too elderly, he thought, to pose a threat.
I couldnt understand it, he said.
Hetzel, the sheriffs homicide detective who arrived shortly after, remembered noting that the victims were of strikingly small stature. The room smelled of their cooking, a garlicky scent grotesquely at odds with the scene, he recalled.
But 11 days before murdering an entire family, Tookie Williams walked into a 7-Eleven in Pico Rivera and murdered Albert Lewis Owens.
During that crime which took place Feb. 28, Owens, a father of two working the night shift at a 7-Eleven, was shot gunned twice in the back at close range.
It was 4 a.m. when the four robbers came in.
One of them took Albert into a storeroom and made him kneel or lie down, according to police accounts and court documents.
He was shot twice in the back at close range with a 12-gauge shotgun. A customer found his body later, according to press accounts.
Afterward, an accomplice of Williams who turned informer said âTookieâ Williams bragged that he blew some White guy away, shot him in the back, for $63, according to court documents.
Very little has been said, over the years, of Albert Lewis Owens, a night clerk at a 7-Eleven in Pico-Rivera, and the Yang family, who ran a motel in Los Angeles.
It hardly makes the papers.
Tookie Williams however has become the liberal Cause du Jour.
Heâs become a movie star, an author, and get thisâ¦a Nobel Peace Prize nominee.
Liberals will tell you that Tookie has redeemed his life while in prison.
Since being confined in jail for half of his life, Tookie has taken up writing childrenâs books. Heâs worked on stopping kids from joining gangs. Heâs written an autobiography, and itâs been made into a movie, starring Jamie Foxx.
And, Foxx is coming to the defense of Tookie. Heâs asked Gov. Schwarzenegger to stop the planned December execution.
We cant let it happen, Foxx said at the premiere of his new film, Jarhead. (Which sucks by the way) Weve got to do everything we can to get the word out. Do you know theyve collected nearly 30,000 signatures so far?
Activists supporting Tookieâs stay of execution say, âIf we execute him, what does that say to the gang bangers out there that were thinking about turning their lives around. Doesnât it say it doesnât matterâ¦just keep doing what your doing?â
I wonder what message would be sent if we let Tookie live?
I think it clearly tells gang members to keep on killing, dealing, and stealing, because nothing will happen to you.
Tookie is scheduled to be put to death on December 13th.
What do you think should happen to Tookie Williams?
