Yes, absolutely. Sean Hannity took a call on his show today from a soldier who had been in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was angry and said the democrat party had not done one single thing to support the troops and that they - dems- were encouraging the enemy. He said the ONLY way to win a war is to break the will of the enemy to fight.

Ollie is right on. Every republican should read this. I also remember when the media ghouls were salivating and celebrating the death of the 2000th soldier. I heard so many crying parents of lost service members calling in to the shows, traumatized by what those media bastards did.

Let's call this what it really is:

The dirty, lowlife, selfish, hippy, democrat party and their accomplices in the media are once again SPITTING ON OUR MILITARY- they may not be literally spitting on them (yet), but they are doing it figuratively.

While this just infuriates me, there is little I can do about it. I don't have the bully pulpit, I'm not a politician.

I do demand that you republicans do something about it. You need to bring it to the attention of the public- what the rat party is doing, and why it's wrong-i.e "the only way to win war is to break the will of the enemy to fight"

. Stand toe to toe with those bastards and DO NOT BACK DOWN. You are in the right to defend our military and defend their mission. We CAN NOT LOSE Iraq period.

If we were to lose- it will not be Viet Nam, it will be a nightmare beyond our anything we've seen before. The enemy has shown - time and time again they have no mercy, no conscience, and no soul.

If the dems start that "question my patriotism" tell em it has nothing to do with "your" patriotism. It's got nothing to do with you at all. We are at war, we have men and women in harms way. Just fight them. It's the least you can do to honor our soldiers. Shut the cockroaches in the rat party up. Stop them from undermining the mission.

Go to the people, address them in the Main stream press-where the maximum amount of citizens can be reached and explain what is going on in Iraq,successes, why we can't lose -dire consequences, that our military must be supported,.

Tell people they are getting a distorted picture of Iraq, that the media does not report success's Remember- there is no press in America, there are no "journalists" in the main media, they are, in their entirety - a propaganda machine for the left, and radical left of the democrat party,.

If the republicans don't slam the rats back in their rat holes- the republicans will lose. Our military will lose, and if the rats are EVER voted back in our country will loose.

If today's Democrats were around during WWII, there is no doubt in my mind we would have lost, with dire consequences resulting.For that reason alone- I think every single one of them should be voted out. They are a danger to our nation.

I'm going to call them the doomocrat party- because to elect them spells doom. They are totally incapable of protecting our nation. They are not even rational. The American people need to know this.

If they still elect them fine, we're doomed. I just don't want them to get elected because the public didn't have a clear understanding of what they are, that they hate this country, will not defend it, and think we need to be taken down a peg.

In other words, I don't want the democrats to get elected because the republicans were too timid, whimpering and cowering, or worried about not getting an invite to a cocktail party, to fight them.

I believe they do. And the real let down and fear I am seeing is that the GOP in an election cycle is willing to tacitly go along sending the same message to the public as was sent during the "war" I served. I am so concerned for our young, current heroes.

The Republic is in deep, deep trouble. It has been for quite some time. But it seems to be worsening.

Wow. GMTA! I had that thought when I woke this morning. If Congress tries to pull funding, why can't we motivate to raise the money to support them ourselves and slap Congress dead in the face?

When you get away from the Constitution and start acting like the document that defines our government doesn't mean a damned thing, this is the result.

The only people here I feel sorry for are our troops and the families of our troops who have been fighting and dying in Iraq and Afghanistan.

It was such a demoralizing time. I remember the news showing helicopters laden with people fleeing. Then the curtain fell. Then there were sporadic reports of the mass murders, boat people, and inability for the hypocrites to report on the events.

I remember that time and actions also. I tried googling pictures of that event yesterday but could not find any that came close to my mind's eye. I remember the desperation of people trying to save their children attempting to put them on evacuating helicopters. I think it was the first time I was ever ashamed of the US government.

I hate our socialist MSM and our socialist politicians. From my guts, I despise them, detest them, wish them the worst. May they be accursed. Hell is too good for them.

I have seldom been stirred to really hate - always called it a waste of good energy. But like you, I truly hate these people. May God forgive me.

Call them. Write to them. Write to your local papers and other news outlets. Donate to and work for appropriate other outlets, such as FR (IOW, Freep them). Get involved in political organizations or, if there aren't any that advance the cause (as you see it) start one.

Marsha Blackburn is my congresswoman and I've contacted her office several times and am very pleased with her responsiveness. Harold Ford's district is next door and I've contacted him several times and he (surprisingly) listens as well. It doesn't usually have a major affect, but it does sometimes.

You have a specific topic or target you want to influence post a specific question on FR (maybe even start a thread each time) soliciting advice. You'll likely get more than you can possibly act on and some of them will even be easy and effective.

The FR community is one of the greatest resources we could possibly have.

I'm experiencing serious anxiety too. Hence my tagline. I wrote it because I'm sick of hearing the left say things like "Torture is not our way, we'll win without torture" while defining torture down to not providing ice cream after dinner. We can still lose this war.

I disagree with Ollie in that I don't know that the war is more important than the border or the Supreme Court. Those are the grand triumvirate of issues we're looking at right now. I find myself wondering how it would be today if Flight 93 had reached its intended destination.

Why couldn't... Guess I shouldn't say that. Oh why not... Why couldn't it have been the plane that went into the Pentagon that the passengers forced down?
