Newsday is a useless, worthless leftist rag that should have gone out of business years ago.

Too bad it's not Newsweek. What a bunch of tripe these leftists spit out every week. A definite "unsubscribe" to any pro-Americans who still get this nonsense in the mail each week. Everyone there is a rabid, seething, Bush-hating moonbat. I'd love to see their subscription numbers - and hope they are plummeting.

"as we move through the process of re-organizing ourselves to meet our goals, we need to make very difficult decisions about how we allocate resources. This includes making staff reductions in union and non-union areas. We will be finalizing these decisions over the next two weeks, and plan to talk to the people who will be losing their jobs promptly as the decisions are made.
IOW's we're gonna wait until it's closer to Christmas.

I guess it's too late to dummy up some more circulation figures to further bilk advertisers for their communist rag.

More good news, the commie rag is face down in the gutter puk'en blood. Won't be long now, first the hacking, then the puk'en, then the death throes. bye, bye.

The tarpits capture another victim. I love watching them sink slowly into the tar - bellowing, eyes rolling, floundering...
God, I do love it so...

--We invested in our home delivery circulation, which is most valuable to advertisers. SNORT!
They just stopped lying about the papers they dump in free non-residential subscriptions, 90% of which are recycled without ever having been read.

...upgraded management meetings to help managers share information with employees. LOL! I remember the first time I heard that basic description. The engineer standing next to me during the meeting whispered, "And that information is your layoff date." Sure enough, within a week my boss called me in to his office to "share information." Dirty pr**k.

I'm sure one reason magazines like Newsweek are staying barely afloat is because every library in America feels they have to subscribe.

"puken blood" I like that! When I lived on Long Island I would have cut off my nose rather than buy Newsday. I subscribed to N.Y. Post as did many of my neighbors.

Sigh.... I agree. Not very Christian of me to think this way especially this time of year. I'm ashamed of myself (almost).

Well, look at the bright side. After you enemies are ground into the dust, they will no longer be around to annoy you. The best way out is through.

Following your feedback in the Employee Survey, we launched new internal communication channels, trained managers in communication and upgraded management meetings to help managers share information with employees. Arrghh, the managment gobbledegook. So glad I left corporate.
