Mary Mapes website for her book Truth and Duty has a page labelled DOCUMENTS. On this page she has her famous "meshing" defense for proof that the memos were accurate. On November 16 she added 12 additional documents she got from the Texas National Guard Headquarters. Unwittingly, she posted documents that actually DISproved many of her arguments.
Some of the documents were letters to the Guard Headquarters asking preferential treatment for the sons of important people, but the letters were actually refusals by the Guard commanders to these requests.
They were only up for a day before someone at Mary's site realized what they had done and pulled them down.
By chance, did anyone get a chance to download them before they were pulled so that we can re-post them here?

Mapes: Those new documents may have been fake but they were accurate!!! I know because I stayed up all night creating them on my computer.

what is really funny is that the ONLY "documents" -- including those purportedly from Killian's office -- with proportional spacing and superscript are the "original" faked documents that were on CBS's web site when the first "reported" the story.

The ones she posted are no longer on the documents page. Originally they were posted after the last of the released memos and the note on the AP story on the DOCUMENTS page.
What shows up now is just the Killian memos and the meshed (NOT) documents. There were 12 more labelled Document 1, Document 2, etc.
They were all photocopies with a similar "view document" link like the posted ones.
Lib's don't read or analyze, they just feel. If Mary says they are proof then they feel it must be true.

Not surprising. How unpleasant would it be if some of our red enemies were actually the geniuses they pretend. The Democrat party has had a Cosa Nostra proportions gene pool collapse.

Doesn't matter - she pulled the documents because most of them were letters from the Guard commanders telling influential people to take a hike.
One letter was even from George Bush Sr. trying to get a friend's kid in and he was told no.
That's why she pulled them off - she realized it was killing her own arguments.
Sure would be nice to get them back and spread around again.
