I worked in retail and no one ever told me to say happy holidays. I always said Have a Merry Christmas. And was always met with a smile. Unless someone had been out all day shopping and spent too much money then they would ba humbug. lol

I also have my Jesus is the reason for the season pin. And I to say Merry Christmas. What else can a christian say? Are we suppose to be ashamed of the fact that the word Christmas has Christ in it and we are celebrating his birth? There are people all over this world who are being killed because they are Christian. We owe it to them to be brave and outspoken for the love we have for Christ. John the Baptist should always be in our minds when we think of being told to just say Happy Holiday. For me I say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. That seems to be loving and faithful.

But yet these same people who complain have not the courage to say a word to the Muslims! Why is that?

As I have just said already all one has to do is say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. It is not difficult. But just because some wish to celebrate their christmas as a secular holiday, does not change the fact that Christmas is a religious holiday and advent is celebrated over weeks at a time. The message of Christmas is peace, joy and hope yet it seems to be scarey for some.

Me neither. I do not drink coffee so why go there! I love hot chocolate with marshmallows on top or some whipped cream. Yummy!

It has been Merry Christmas and Happy New Year since I can remember. I remember things when I was about 7 months old. Why has it changed in the last few years? People are trying to do away with Christmas all together and I find that offensive. I can remember going to a church when I was very young and a large Christmas tree was in the front of the church. We sang Christmas songs, had a Christmas program, and exchanged gifts. Of course that would be extremely hard to do in the very large church I attend nowadays. If we let this go, then what in the world will be next. No, I will not get over it.
