John Kerry Elected ... Jury Foreman

BOSTON - Sen. John Kerry's public profile and prosecutorial past didn't spare him from performing that most mundane of civic responsibilities — jury duty.

Kerry was not only chosen this week to sit on a jury in Suffolk Superior Court, but also was elected foreman.

The case involved two men who sued the city for injuries suffered in a 2000 car accident involving a school principal. The Kerry-led jury rejected their claim Tuesday, and his fellow jurors said the state's junior senator was a natural leader.

"I just found him to be a knowledgeable, normal person," said Cynthia Lovell, a nurse and registered Republican who says she now regrets voting for President Bush in last year's election. "He kept us focused. He wanted us all to have our own say."

The former Democratic presidential candidate reported for duty Monday and none of the lawyers in the case objected to putting him on the jury.

"I was a little surprised," Kerry said of being selected for jury duty.

"I enjoyed it," he said. "It was very, very interesting and very instructive."

"16 hours later John Kerry was still trying to explain his 'guilty but not guilty' verdict!"

Guilty in one of the two Americas, not guilty in the other.

>>"I'm normally a straight ticket Republican, but this year I'm voting for Mondale/Dukakis/Clinton/Gore/Kerry!"

A registered Republican who now regrets having voted for
Bush? Yeah, right.

There were many "Democrats for Bush" last time; how many
"Republicans for Kerry" voters were there?

CHRISTMAS CAROL PARODY TIME (lyrics by me)
Have yourself a Kerry little Christmas
Cozy all the way
While the seat of power lies so far away

You'll be just one more lib in the Senate
Thanks to W
You won't live on Pennsylvania Avenue

Ketchup heiress has lots of dough
Lots and lots of dough, to spend
It won't buy you the White House though
For the voters know, my friend

Mondale, Gore, and also Mike Dukakis
Know just how you feel
When voters see you, they see you have no appeal
SO have yourself a Kerry little Christmas now

Is this true? As a lawyer in Massachusetts wouldn't sKerry be an officer of the court? In most jurisdictions, that would make him ineligible to be a juror. I'd surely object if they tried to put that traitorous pos on my jury!

Holy straw polls, Batman, of course he let everyone on the jury have their say ... it was the only way he could figure out how to vote.

Never mind ... I see now that:
Lawyers, doctors, members of the clergy, elected officials, police officers, and judges must serve when called.

>>>This is so typical of the LSM. There is NO WAY this woman is a true republican/conservative who now wishes John Kerry had been elected. NO WAY! (rolling eyes)>>>

This was a thumb your nose hit piece by the dummies at AP. This line was irrelevant and had nothing to do with the story, but to make the dipwad writing the story feel better about voting for a LOSER.

Many states relaxed their rules on lawyers serving jury duty.

Well, at least Kerry won ONE election. Of course, it was just another Massachusetts election in Boston, where the most liberal Democrat always wins.

I bet Kerry told the jury that many foreign leaders privately told him that they wanted him to be Jury Foreman.

Jury Foreman are appointed by the Judge in Ma. they do not hold elections. It was stunt by his cronies on the court to beef up the story. Still a lying POS.
