MSNBC's talk show host Chris Matthews is a man who obviously: (1) Believes he is the smartest person on television; (2) Enjoys bullying women such as Michelle Malkin on the air; (3) Enjoys bullying senior citizens who may not be as quick with the mouth as he is; (4) Is irrelevent except for a few of his fellow moonbats who actually believe he's a mental giant; (5) Is of the opinion that he's really competition for Fox News Channel's lineup.
During a speech he gave in Canada at the University of Toronto, Matthews did what most American liberals do when in a foreign country -- he denigrated his own country. During his usual bloviating Matthews is quoted as saying, "America's enemy in the war on terror is not evil -- they just have a different perspective."
As a result of the Chris Matthews pseudo-intellectual speech, radio talk show host Bob Newman invited him to appear on KOA's "The Gunny Bob Show," aired in Phoenix.

Matthews is one of the most partisan idiots on TV. From the moment Bush/Cheney set foot in office, Matthews was on the attack. Up until the Iraq war, the Enron story was his biggest beef...long after everyone had forgot about it. In fact, even after 9/11, he still wanted to know when someone within the administration was going to be held accountable for that.
I even think that it was on his show that he had Katrina Vandenho claiming that Bush and Ken Lay had such a special relationship that he allowed Lay to buy the name of the stadium on which Bush's baseball team played...ala "Enron" Field. Besides the fact that it hadn't been Bush's team in a long time, the *itch didn't even realize that Enron Field was the home of the Astros and not the Rangers.

Ok. It's just when I read your statement, I latched onto Chrissy ridiculous statement of "not evil-just different" and had to ask.
I would also agree that different perspectives alone does not determine what is evil. Evil can be judged by actions and intentions. IMHO.

The thing that cracks me up is that the RATS think he's conservative! He voted for Bush in 2000 and they've hated him ever since.

“Anyhoo, there was a backup in the kitchen and it was taking some time for everyone to get their pizza. My party waited about 25 minutes. I've been there many times before and this is very unusual for the place.
Chris Matthews and his wife are at the next table. He starts yelling at his waitress because the pizza is taking so long. And I'm not talking 'hey, where are the pizzas.' I mean, berating her. He even went so far as to call her a liar. Keep in mind this was after the poor girl, who was no more than 18 years old, told him she would box his pizzas and he could have them for free.
Did he thank her for her offer? No. Instead he stands up and starts yelling and wildly gestulating. Over a frigging pizza. He had to be a foot taller than this girl, but he was in her face pointing and yelling like she was a guest on Hardball and she was embroiled in the lastest political scandal. He then stormed out, leaving his mortified wife to hash out the situation.
What an a-hole. I, for one, won't be watching Hardball anymore. I watch it all the time and for the most part, I find his guests to be interesting. I actually like him when he tones down the interrupting and yelling. But after last night, the sight of his mug makes me sick. The same goes for his wife, who's a local news anchor. I never would have let my husband treat a waitress like that.”
His wife is the news-anchor on WJLA in DC.

Chrissy a spineless weenie when not surrounded by his buddies? I'm not surprised. I always check to see the beginning of his Sunday morning program, to see if there are any conservative guests. Haven't seen one in at least a year, so it's nothing but a left wing echo chamber and quite boring.
In the past, he'd have guests like Laura Ingraham on. But, he'd ask them a question, then cut them off or allow one of his leftie guests to interrupt them before they could finish. Rude, insulting, bullying. So, I figured conservative pundits have boycotted his show, since appearing is a waste of their time. And, he couldn't even go one on one with the Gunny, huh? LOL.
Had him by the short hairs BUMP!
Matthews went nutso after he found out that one of his sons is gay.
